Galleries don't seem to display photos that don't exist, but are entered in the gallery anymore. Is there some code that can re-add this? ---Hockeyben 18:06, June 3, 2011 (UTC)

- There's a gallery here with a non-existant file. But nothing is displayed because it does not exist. On a normal MediaWiki installation, a red link pointing to the upload form with the name of the file would be in place of the missing image. It seems Wikia used this as a workaround to prevent people knowing about the existance of Special:Upload --Ciencia Al Poder (talk) -WikiDex 20:46, June 3, 2011 (UTC)

@Ciencia The inability to view nonexisting photos in the gallery makes it impossible to remember to fill the images in, not to mention a pain to upload. ---Hockeyben 23:55, June 3, 2011 (UTC)
- Tagging {{Staff needed}}. It would be nice to get Wikia's explanation for removing some functionality that is in the default Gallery behavior. They have their own implementation, but it would be nice if there were some parameter to control displaying red links or not. -- Fandyllic (talk · contr) 6 Jun 2011 1:38 PM Pacific
