How to display inline total number of articles, so that I would have "There are xxx articles on Wikia". {{NUMBEROFARTICLES}} shows list of articles without stubs, and redirections, but how to display number of all pages in Main namespace? SkywalkerPL 09:17, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

{{NUMBEROFPAGES}} And as with the other {{NUMBEROFPAGES:R}} can be used if you wish to use an #expr.
So "There are 1,808,772 pages on Wikia".
Half the current number of pages -> 904386
Number of stubs, redirects, ect... 1773408

There is a magic word for what you want, but unfortunately, {{PAGESINNAMESPACE}} is disabled because it is rather system intensive. However, {{NUMBEROFARTICLES}} should show all pages that are:
  • not redirects
  • have at least one link
  • are in the main namespace
so it only excludes redirects, mostly. --Splarka (talk) 10:28, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
Using DPL2 would be even more intensive for that though, right?
{{#expr:0{{#dpl:debug=0
	| mode           = userformat
	| namespace      =
	| listseparators = ,1,+,0
}}}}
