Hi. I have a gaming wiki which was doing fine four months ago when I left it. When I came back yesterday, no changes have been made to the articles but the DPL pages have broken formatting. Instead of this:

I get this instead:

My wiki can be found here. The formatting error can be seen here.

Please help. Thank you.

This has surely something to do with Forum:Switching to the new parser (see also Forum:Switching to the new parser/archive).

You may want to check your code is up to date - it's possible some code upgrades changed some syntax? (Similar to the new parser idea). Kirkburn  talk  contr    12:45, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
Kirkburn: When the error showed up I checked the DPL manual but I found nothing wrong with my syntax. I just put all the DPL code into a template but the error still shows up. I don't know what could be causing the problem.

The error is still happening. I asked about it on MediaWiki but have no reply there yet. I can't be the only person using labeled section transclusion with DPL. If anyone has such a thing on their wiki and it seems to be working please link me to your page so I can compare it with mine and figure out what's wrong. Thanks. -Daarklord 05:06, 21 April 2009 (UTC)

OH!!! i was thinking on this yesterday issue... while i was looking on some other DPL inclusion issues and i found this now this is not correction to your issue, but its an alternative way you can use the Chapter inclusion or if you want use the template inclusion but regardless of what you choose the "section begin" or "section end" will have to be remove --Cizagna (Talk) Dofus » 22:53, 09 May 2009 (UTC)

I took your advice and changed my DPL pages to include Chapters instead of Sections. All is well and good but my pages currently use a template to generate the chapter headings, and DPL doesn't detect them as chapter headings. This is what I mean:
This is what the pages currently have, a template that generates a chapter heading
{{Identify information}}
The template just has this text in it:
==Identify Information==
Casting identify on the the item reveal the following:
I don't want to edit every page to get rid of the template manually. I'm thinking I can do one of two things:
- Get DPL to process the pages after the template has been applied
- Find some way to automate the process of getting rid of the template on all pages
I don't know how to do either, so any help would be appreciated.

I can use my bot to add "subst" to every single page where the template its being transcluded, just confirm me if you want me to do that an i will go and do it --Cizagna (Talk) Dofus » 22:12, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
That would certainly help. What would be even better is if I can make my own bot to do similar things in the future. Would you please help me do this?

The best i can do is Wikipedia:Wikipedia:Bots as its more of finding one that fulfills ones desires and needs --Cizagna (Talk) Dofus » 17:32, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
