Hello, I am trying to create a section on my main page of my Wiki (http://ultimatesoapfan.wikia.com/wiki/Ultimate_Soap_Fan_Wiki) under the heading On This Day in Soap History that will update and change daily to note important dates. Now, I have spent the past several hours trying to figure this out using several different templates and none work. I have created one page (January 24: http://ultimatesoapfan.wikia.com/wiki/January_24_) to try and link the events into the section. I am not sure what coding I am to use on either so the section will update automatically on its own each day. I figure I will need to create pages for each day noting the events that I want include on the section but instead of getting ahead of myself I just have today until I can get this coding right. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ultimatesoapfan 22:09, January 24, 2012 (UTC)ultimatesoapfan

Place this in the section: {{:{{CURRENTMONTHNAME}} {{CURRENTDAY}}}}. This will add the contents of January 24 under the section. It will change every day so you will have to stay on top of it. DaRanger (Talk ~ Contribs) 22:22 ~ 1/24/2012
