Suppose I want to create a blog posts by unorthodox means, for example with Special:CreatePage. Is there a way to have comments toggled on right from the beginning, like a magic word/html tag?--AB 09:46, May 3, 2011 (UTC)
- No, there isn't. The blog extension is poorly designed, and as such if you don't use Special:CreateBlogPage, they don't work. It's also worth noting that blogs have no
&action=edit- editing a blog is simply using Special:CreateBlogPage to write over an existing blog post. It's also why blog posts have no view source function, and can't be fully protected. Monchoman45 Talk Contribs Skystone 11:24,5/3/2011
