If i understand what you want, you can add a class to the main table and add a rule for it in common.css.

A class is like {| class="class_name" Style="...

The CSS rule would be like :

.class_name {
    background-image: URL(full_path_of_an_image_on_the_wiki);
}

ok, i'll have to wait to see if can be an admin on the wiki first so I can edit mediawiki (I've applied for adoption and i'm pretty hopeful), howver is there any chance you can give more exact and dumbed down instructions, I know to add that bit to mediawiki.css, but then how do i change the template to look like paper?

Can someone add this to the wiki for me.

I'm not an dmin, the founder has left (and is not responding on his talk page) and i can't adopt the wiki till 60 days after he last edited...(i think its about 30 now).

Hello Semajdraehs, based on Tulip`s ideas, here is an example page of paper class usage. To see the effect you would need to create a css like me, here on wikia. For usage on your wiki, copy class "paper" from my css example into your own User:USERNAME/monaco.css on your wiki, than copy the code from example page into a sandbox page on your wiki and try it out. For real use, please upload an image to your wiki space with true copyrights. Remember to clean the browser cache after changing on css. You can do this all without admin rights. After your finish, you can copy the code to Mediawiki:monaco.css for all users later. With more playing on the style you can also set a book lite borders. OK, i've done the bits I can do and like the paper effect, but just two questions:

1. What do you mean For real use, please upload an image to your wiki space with true copyrights
2. Will I have to wait till I can become an admin (30ish days because the admin made one edit 30ish days ago...) to upload to the mediawiki, bit or can helpers/staff add it for you?

1. I found the picture somewhere with google. For use on your wiki, the URL should not link wildly into the internet. The picture should store on Wikia, and for that you should get, accept and put the copyright information for the picture.
2. You can upload the picture without admin rights. You can use it on all pages. But it would only visible for you. After you have a working css in User:USERNAME/monaco.css, you can ask Wikia Staff to copy this to Mediawiki:monaco.css, without waiting the 30 days.
