Like I already thought this would happen, on Fringe Wiki the Sysops aren't both there. User:Balistic Pve isn't online on the Fringe Wiki anymore, I should wait a few weeks, when I can adopt the Wiki. How can i solve this problem? I should wait until 29 August?--Station7 10:00, August 2, 2010 (UTC)

You could try posting on his talk page asking him about it... --Pcj (TC) 11:36, August 2, 2010 (UTC)
Pcj, I asked him already about that, but there was no comment. I think there won't come any comment back. He left the Fringe Wiki.--Station7 14:42, August 2, 2010 (UTC)
You dont need to be a Admin to clean up wiki pages (other than actually deleting the complete page) which can be blanked and tagged for deletion later (by an admin or staff). If the wiki has a Vandal problem ask the Vandalism task force to help or request staff help to block any persistent offenders & Delete any pages with obnoxious/obscene content (if its just 'nonense' just clean it up on the page). Just get on with adding content till you can apply for adoption (but think how many wikis can you actually look after if your already admin on others)! I have at times worked on several other wikis cleaning up problems but dont have time to adopt them fulltime, as my main wiki would then get neglected. Remember Users often get bored and leave a wiki for a bit (or real like gets in the way), so if they see other active (constructive) editors they may come back to editing it, which is partially why wikia has the waiting period on adoption. - BulldozerD11 17:01, August 2, 2010 (UTC)
I used to contribute to Fringe wiki, but at least one of the admins is kind of a jerk. So be forewarned. Technically you could try to adopt the wiki now, since the sysops have been inactive (haven't edited Fringe wiki) for more than 60 days. Also, Station7, I don't think you're a good candidate because you have lots of responsibilities on other wikis, that I can tell. -- Fandyllic (talk · contr) 1:21 PM PST 2 Aug 2010

Well, actually I think I wanna quiet on a Wiki. On other Wiki's there is mostly no one where I'm Sysop. And the responsiblities are not that most. Only on Prison Break Wiki, the most. Fandyllic, Brandon Rhea said that I should wait until 29 August, because he had made 1 edit. And because of that edit, I should wait until that date.--Station7 20:28, August 2, 2010 (UTC)

Well that must mean w:c:fringe:Special:ListUser/sysop is inaccurate (as far as last edited date), which is pretty lame. -- Fandyllic (talk · contr) 3:24 PM PST 2 Aug 2010

That special page only takes edits into account. Log actions also apply. For example, Balistic Pve deleted a page on June 29th—hence the August 29th date that Station mentioned. - Brandon Rhea@fandom(talk) 22:43, August 2, 2010 (UTC)

Good point. I didn't look at the logs. Regardless, deleting a user subpage isn't much of an edit. My Name Is Tom did delete a spam page on June 6th. That is a bit better. I would set the adopt date at August 6th, but I don't make the rules. -- Fandyllic (talk · contr) 4:16 PM PST 2 Aug 2010
