If you use the ISBN tag, you get referred to the Book Sources page, with a handful of pages that might find the book. The search link for Amazon is broken. There could be also more links, like the Open Library, which is much more likely to find useful information, especially about more obscure books.

(Note: most of the selling sites allow the passing on of a string, which identifies who pointed the viewer to the product. Should the viewer buy something, a small percentage goes to the referral, without an extra charge for the buyer. This serves to support quite a few non-profit sites. Don't know if it's acceptable for Wikia, but just throwing it out there.) Pestergaines 11:16, January 16, 2010 (UTC)

Create a page at Project:Book sources containing all the text and links you want. Use the magic word MAGICNUMBER where the ISBN is required. MACIGNUMBER will be replaced by the actual ISBN in text and links when you view the page from Special:BookSources. For an example of what the end result could look like, see m:Meta:Book sources and m:Special:BookSources/1111111111. 198.163.150.6 21:55, January 19, 2010 (UTC)
Finally got around to making this edit, and it works! One good resource is Wikipedia itself. Thanks! Pestergaines 00:55, February 14, 2010 (UTC)
