I'm trying to create an "Infobox" Template for a starship ([1]). However, with the template, and any use of it (eg: [2], it automatically adds the Category:Infobox Templates and Category:Utility Templates.

Is there any way to stop this from happening? Or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks

To prevent template categories from cascading, you just have to make sure to place them in a <noinclude> block. This prevents them being included. The opposite effect can be done with <includeonly> --Splarka (talk) <Staff> 08:15, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
Doesn't seem to have made any differnence; the "Utility Templates" category is still being added to the Template itself, and all uses of the Template also still have the cateogry. I want to get rid of the "Utility Templates" CVateogry from both template and the uses thereof. --Darthfish 15:12, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
It was being added by the T template. If fixed it by moving the noinclude tags on that template. Tjoneslo 16:21, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
