Hello Wikia community,
Earlier today I was editing the French and Fracophone Studies Academic Jobs Wiki and then navigated away. When I came back I saw a pop-up window come up and was given the choice to "Delete my changes and start with the latest text" or "View a comparison of changes with the latest page." (I know this because I've just done this again, without typing anything, however). I cannot remember which option I selected but to my surprise and dismay, I've since been blocked from the page. I didn't delete anyone's content except for my own (so I thought, and which I retyped again anyway) but it sounds like perhaps that was not the case. Is that possible?
I'm not sure about who to contact or what to do next, but I never expected such ramificaitons from a (mistaken) click. Which option should I have chosen? What do I do next?

- This is called an edit conflict and is perfectly normal. It means someone else was editing the page at the same time as you. If you link the page, I can tell you in more detail what happened. Monchoman45 Talk Contribs Skystone 03:15,12/9/2011
