Please help me, a admin of a wiki(Near is the admin, wiki is http://it.gb-it-forum-folgore-figo.wikia.com/wiki/) insults me in every case, http://it.gb-it-forum-folgore-figo.wikia.com/wiki/Folgore is an example of a page in that wikia. I'm italian and nano, truzzo, leghista are bad insults...

I can't just leave teh wikia because this is connected with a forum and Near and I are in it!

Please help me: ban Near and s-block the page, let wiki's free! ;_;

p.s: I'm Yamcha in that wiki

per favore aiutatemi, un admin di una wiki (near è l'admin, la wiki è http://it.gb-it-forum-folgore-figo.wikia.com/wiki/) mi insulta in ogni occasione, http://it.gb-it-forum-folgore-figo.wikia.com/wiki/Folgore è un esempio. Sono italiano e parole come truzzo, leghista, e nano sono insulti abbastanza pesanti per me...

non posso lasciare la wikia e basta perchè è collegata ad un forum e ner e io ci stiamo!

per favore aiutatemi: bannate per favore near e sbloccate quelle pagine, rendete la wikia libera! ;_;

Please post the exact response from Wikia here if possible. They shouldn't be directing people here for arguments between users on a wiki. They've even locked threads here for that very reason. I hope they're not being lazy. -- Fandyllic (talk · contr) 1:02 PM PST 19 Jun 2010

no, no, their were kind, a little lazy maybe but they had patience.

I can't contact him directly, We knows us from a long time, and he hate me.

If I contact him, he wouldn't ever remove that things, and also he wouldn't s-block the page.

Just look at his (and my) page, there are insults in every of them.

They will read that it makes some of their users (me) angry that they would try to pawn off their support issues here to kindly volunteers rather than find an italian translator to help you. The user seems to be in breach of the Wikia Terms of Use.

Wikia staff should be able to help you if an user harass you or is been defamatory.

One must make distinction between wiki admin/sysop and Wikia staff.

One side note, maybe he's not been defamatory like i previously said. But a wiki admin saying on many pages that someone is a jerk or a morron should never happen on Wikia. Free speach stop where it hurt someone else.

Situation Resolved

Hello, everyone. Been watching this forum post for a while, trying to get a good view of the situation. I did ask one of our international helpers to look more into the matter and they have reported back a few things I took into consideration reading the email this morning. It is unfortunate to see Raiden96 get banned - unfortunately, it is hard to override local admins except in extreme cases. However it turns out that, in the best opinion of our helpers, this is an extreme case. The wiki is clearly designed to insult members of another forum, which is a violation of our Terms of Use. Thus the wiki has been completely closed. It is unfortunate we could not have brought a more ideal solution to this issue. --daNASCAT (Help Forum) (blog) 16:20, June 22, 2010 (UTC)

We can override local admins if it's a clear cut case of abuse. Without speaking Italian myself, I couldn't say for sure who was in the wrong - hence bringing in the International Team. However, overall, we do respect the rights of bureaucrats and admins. The community owns the wiki, but these bureaucrats and admins either started said community or were given rights by the community. Thus, we consider intervening in small matters a sort of virtual coup d'etat, a violation of the community and its leader's rights for independence. --daNASCAT (Help Forum) (blog) 16:35, June 23, 2010 (UTC)

I can explain you all the question.

yes, the ex-wikia is like unciclopedia, but every member of that forum tell the things are bad for them (bad insults/ecc) and remove/tell to remove.

But Near write that things, and they are my weakness. That things are not true of course, but they make me feel bad. I won't to other can read that things, so he's in the wrong.

That wikia is for joking, but he took his serious. He block my page, he put in it bad insults. In the other pages insults are (were) little, they can accept them, they joke looking them. and them are s-blocked of course.

So, the point is:

-if you want not to show other people a word, you eliminate it from the wikia.

-if you want not, but the admin block your page and fool you more than other, that's bad.

try to pretend to be me, what would you do?

so, in every case I go vacations tomorrow, and i will return on september...I will read the answers in september.
