Hi, I was trying to make a speech thing for talk pages and I was wondering, is there a template that ads the current time that I posted, so I don't have to add it manually every time? Mai Is Me (talk) 20:38, July 20, 2012 (UTC)

You can create a timestamp by substituting with the #time parser function. Here's an example: {{subst:#time: H:i, F d, Y}} makes 21:14, July 20, 2012 when you publish the edit. For technical details on how to use #time parser function, mw:Help:Extension:ParserFunctions#.23time has a lot of good info. 20px_Rin_Tohsaka_Avatar.png Mathmagician ƒ(♫) 21:14 UTC, Fri, 20 July 2012
