Is it possible and advisable to add some file types to the allowed ones? For AutoCAD wiki, it seems we would want to sometimes upload files like dwg, dvb, mnu, mnl, cui, and several others. Is there a policy on this? Tom Haws 23:34, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- p.s. I guess zip alone would address our need conveniently enough if that's possible. Tom Haws 23:35, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

- If I were in Wikia's position, the only one I would be speamish about would be DVB, the VBA extension. "With the ability to embed VBA projects into drawings, malicious code and viruses have entered the CADD world." [1] A Google search for "AutoCAD virus" reveals two cases since 2000. However, I don't personally know of virus activity as an issue at the Autodesk or AutoCAD User Group International forums. Tom Haws 16:34, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks so much. Let's wait and see on the dvb. My biggest idea about dvb files is that it would be hard or impossible to post dialogue box VBA programs without uploading the dvb project. Oh, p.s. Could you do one other one? Tom Haws 18:52, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
