I have been using a bot to manage large numbers of articles quickly, and it seems that the delete function of the API is no longer working with my bot. It throws me the following error whenever I try to delete articles:
HTTPError: 500 Internal Server Error WARNING: Could not open 'http://sonicfanon.wikia.com/api.php'.
Nothing else shows any problems.
Have there been any recent changes to the API that might have caused this? User:Gamedezyner 01:08, July 11, 2012 (UTC)
- It could possibly be caused by the MediaWiki upgrade. Sonicfanon is now on MediaWiki 1.19 per w:c:sonicfanon:Special:Version. I'd be willing to bet there's some problems with the API due to the upgrade.

- Yep, that was the correct place. More specifically, Special:Contact/bug is the best place to send all bug reports about Wikia features, but as long as you sent it through Special:Contact, they'll get it. Mathmagician ƒ(♫) 17:37 UTC, Mon, 16 July 2012
