How hard would it be to get 'navigation popups', like wikipedia has, to work on religion wiki. I tried simply adding the template to my own personal javascript page but it didnt work.

They do work on Wikia. You can test them out on the Help Wiki by going to the gadget section in your preferences. To install them on your wiki you could simply add importScriptURI( '' ); to your personal JavaScript or Wiki's JavaScript depending on what you want. Hope that helps. I added "importScriptURI( '' );" to and it had no effect. Yes i did shift-reload and monobook is my current skin. Granpa 00:09, June 1, 2010 (UTC)
I also went to the gadgets section for wikia prefs like you said and turned them on and it also had no effect. Granpa 00:26, June 1, 2010 (UTC)
No, it's JavaScript not CSS so you need to add importScriptURI( '' ); to your w:c:religion:User:Granpa/monobook.js if you're using monobook, or your w:c:religion:User:Granpa/monaco.js if you're using monaco. Grunny (talk) 00:31, June 1, 2010 (UTC)
Yes!! Finally. You have no idea how long I've been wanting that. Thank you very much. Granpa 00:37, June 1, 2010 (UTC)

Hi Grunny thought I'd try this as like the popup preview on wikipedia, but cannot see a gadget section in in preferences other than on the help wikia, to enable it ? (PS. I added the JS bit to my personal JS file) but canot see it working ? - my js file have i missed something out - BulldozerD11 20:26, June 1, 2010 (UTC)

w:c:tractors:User:Bulldozerd11/monaco.js would be the correct page to put it on. Ose TalkContribs 21:15, June 1, 2010 (UTC)
Hi Bulldozer. Once you put the code in your personal js file that Ose linked you to, it will be enabled (once you refresh your cache), and won't be an option in preferences. The reason it appears in the preferences at the Help Wiki is that they have the gadgets extension enabled and have created the popup as an option for anyone to use from their preferences. Thanks not was not paying attention to case the sensitivity of naming will try again at correct page. - BulldozerD11 00:22, June 2, 2010 (UTC)
Update - Working fine now. was on right page just typed wrong one here (D11>d11) but other JS code on page must have been faulty. as ok once it was deleted. - BulldozerD11 23:29, June 2, 2010 (UTC)
