I just made an edit to a template and now the templates that are placed below it on the main page show the words 'center' and its text is no longer centered... I did use p and /p though in the first mentioned template. How can I fix this? --Zantam03 17:26, April 25, 2010 (UTC)

You put an opening <center> tag in the template, with no closing counterpart. Ose TalkContribs 17:48, April 25, 2010 (UTC)
sorry, sloppy mistake, thanks anyway! --Zantam03 17:56, April 25, 2010 (UTC)
I would note as well that <span style="text-align:center;"></span> is better than <center>, because the latter is deprecated and technically should be avoided. ;) The 888th Avatar (talk) 23:02, April 25, 2010 (UTC)
I will miss <center>. So much simpler than CSS gone crazy, although I understand the reasons. CSS is so awkward. -- Fandyllic (talk · contr) 10:56 PM PST 26 Apr 2010
