There seems to be a problem with a page in this wiki, Zylongamingboutcheetah Wiki. The article was called "EMP pack", and I was unable to edit it, delete it, or rollback the edit that seems to have created this problem (the page worked fine before). I could, however, view the article, and it otherwise appeared to have no problems.
In lieu of this, I was able to move the "broken" "EMP pack" page to a new name, "EMP pack test," and I was able to restore the the redirecting "EMP pack" article back to what it was before. Now I am just unable to do anything about the "EMP pack test" article I had to create (which apparently contained some sort of bug). It similarly cannot be edited or deleted, and basically could be called a "junk page" that I need to get rid of. Additionally, I cannot view this page, as opposed to the initial problem with the "EMP pack" page.
The broken page "EMP pack test" will generate a HTTP 500 error when viewed, or something like that. I tried to search for solutions to this, but I could not come across anything that appeared relevant to my problem.
This page is the only one that is broken. Every other article in the wiki works flawlessly. Zeta90009 20:55, July 13, 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah, I get the same thing. Try this URL and see if you can delete it without opening it, thereby avoiding the HTTP 500 error:SpikeToronto 21:10, July 13, 2011 (UTC)
- I get this error when i click that link: "The database is currently locked. Our main datacenter is down, you are accessing our backup datacenter. We are working to fix the problem" ... sounds like you should wait until we clear up a few of today's release issues before continuing this. :) --Dopp (help forum | blog) 21:14, July 13, 2011 (UTC)
- Okay, that tends to answer some of my suspicions, as I was noticing that Wikia was having some sort of software updates. Can I expect to be able to do this after any issues are resolved? Zeta90009 21:19, July 13, 2011 (UTC)
- I just successfully deleted the page, and that closes this case here. Thanks for the assistance. Zeta90009 02:29, July 14, 2011 (UTC)
