We Bare Bears Wiki (approved)

I'd like to request a spotlight for the We Bare Bears wiki! Our community isn't the largest and Season 3 has premiered this month (April) and new episodes are being aired all this month. We're hoping a Spotlight (if we're approved) will help advertise the new Season a bit more and help us build up our community even more.

• I am an active admin/bureaucrat.
• Out of 640+ pages, there are only 88 pages marked as a stub which is less than fifth of all of our pages.
• Our main page is very clean and organized with many images and clear links to important content.
• Our mobile main page is completely filled out.
• We have a good category structure and every page is categorized
• Our community is very stable.
• We are using the welcome tool.
• Our Community Center message is customized.
• We have a completely customized skin.
• We do not allow inappropriate language or content.

As for image suggestions, I'd like to suggest this image and "Will you be there?" for the caption if possible. :)

Soulfly Wiki (approved)

I'm the one who opened the Wiki over two years ago and currently have 201 pages. I spent two years writing and improving all of those pages in Soulfly Wiki, leading to articles being very informative, neat, and very consistent. One downside to it is that the Wiki sees only a few visitors. The most visited page on Soulfly Wiki was visited a paltry 18 times over last week and typically attract less than 30 visitors a week on every page. I want more visitors to Soulfly Wiki to make spending a lot of time dedicating to it more worth it. So I like to spotlight this to try to attract more visitors from other related Wikis such as Slipknot Wiki where it is visited lot more. PlanetStar 20:34, March 11, 2017 (UTC)

Congratulations on reaching 200 pages! You've done a good job to build all of that. The wiki will need a few tweaks to be included in the spotlights module. You would need to fill out the mobile main page, as well as the Community-Corner. You also are just 1 page short of 200 non-stub pages (two of your pages are short disambiguations), so if there is anything you could add quickly that would be great. Finally, while it is not required, your mainpage would look a lot more inviting/interesting if you included a gallery of album cover art with the list of the albums :) Let me know on my wall when you've made those changes and I can check back again. -- Wendy (talk)  16:35, September 19, 2017 (UTC)

Ben 10 Planet (approved)

Hello I liked to give Ben 10 Planet a new spotlight for this year. We have the Reboot Ben 10 series premiering in April of 2017 for North America, South America and the series had its premiere in fall of 2016 in other countries. The admins made sure the wiki fulfills all requirements and had spotlights in the past. I also want the picture to be changed for the spotlight. By getting the exposure the wiki needs I hope to bring our old users and bring new users in.

Little Shop Of Horrors Wiki

Hi! I'm FiveCraft, a bueraucrat from the Little Shop Of Horrors Wiki!, I've recently adopted the wiki and since done a massive revamp of it, making it much more informative and appealing than in the past. Right now we're around 50 Pages or so, and I need a way to reach more LSOH fans so we can improve the Wiki to be the best it can be, and then some.

The content of our Wiki focuses on the original 1982 LSOH Production, the 1986 Movie, the 2009 UK Tour Production, the 2016 UK Tour Production, the original 1960 Roger Corman Movie and the 2003 Broadway Revival.

Are you still interested in a spotlight? If so, you will need to sort out some uncategorized pages. You also have 2/3rds of your content marked as "Category:Articles Needing Expansion", which is essentially calling the page a "stub". For a spotlight you would need to have no more than 650 pages (rouhgly 1/5th of the content) marked with that template/category. The VS Battles Wiki (approved)

Hello.

I have heard that we are allowed to ask for advertisements once every 6 months.

If this is true, I would like to request a new spotlight for the VS Battles wiki.

We are a community that index statistics for a wide variety of fictional characters, and currently have over 11000 pages in sum total. We also have a functioning mobile version of the wiki, and a well-organised wiki navigation bar.

If this is accepted, we have created an image here that you can use, if you wish.

Red Storm Wiki looks good, but in order to have it spotlighted you would need to reduce the number of short pages with length less than 300 bytes and articles marked as stubs to a combined 110, or roughly 1/5th of the total content pages. K.C. Undercover Wiki looks great and just needs one thing to meet the spotlight criteria. You would need to expand some of the short pages (less than 300bytes in length) so that the combined number of those pages and articles marked as stubs is less than 1/5th of your content, or about 80 pages total; right now there are about 120 pages. In order to qualify, Hypixel Wiki would need to expand some of the short pages (less than 300bytes in length) so that the combined number of those pages, articles needing work and articles marked as stubsis less than 1/5th of your content, or about 90 pages total; right now nearly half of the pages on the wiki are marked as stubs in these ways. You would also need to sort out a handful of uncategorized pages. Hello Wendy, I wanted to give my Puroresu System Wiki is a Puroresu Encyclopedia but I wanted a spotlight, because I'm alone in this project and I wanted to attract more users to help me and expand my project and make it great, I don't know if many languages can be possible because in the japanese wikia part, it doesn't has at least on contributor but I don't know about that part.

Wanna about the banner, I want this banner as you can see down there:

And I think that my wiki has everything that requires because:

• I am the admin and founder of it;

• I have some stub pages but I don't know how many, but that I will confirm later;

• Every Page as a category but there are someones that we are finding the best category for pages but that can be fixed with time being;

• I have the welcoming tool, here;

• My community is very united and everyone is welcome to edit nor even if it's one thing or correcting it but at every contribution is welcomed too;

• I have a very structed main page including the mobile one with a the slider with every Puroresu PPV of the month;

• I have the community messages here;

• The community has a customized skin;

• I don't allow Vandalsim, Harressment, Disruption nor even bad language and inappropriate which it's something that it's not going to be tolerated.

South Park Archives (approved)

I am an active admin on the South Park Wiki and I would like to request it gets a spotlight. The show itself will reach its 20th anniversary in one month, and will be releasing 2 new games this year, along with its 21st season, therefore we need more contributors to help us with all the information.

The fandom has 3,555 pages, with only 5 pages being a stub. There are 3 active admins, myself, User:HighJewElfKing and User:PissCoveredOcelot. The main page has many images and links, including a slider gallery at the top. We also have a community app, as seen here.

Hello there! I'm the owner of the VS Debating Wiki, a wiki dedicated solely to analyzing characters/weapons/etc and figuring out just how strong they really are. This sort of thing has been my main hobby for a good few months now, bordering on a year, and I think its about time our little baby brother to the other wikis like it shines. 

• I am, like I said, the active admin needed to request- although we have two other staff members on site daily, Roy Master and Paulo Junior.

• We currently have 664 pages, with not a single one of them being of inferior quality OR being stubs. I won't allow that to happen on my wiki.

• Our category structure has been adapted and improved over the time of our creation, and I'd like to believe that it shows clearly. Every page is kept categorized.

• We are not going through any "upheavals"- the staff listing is solid for now and seems to be staying that way.

• Our community corner is, of course, customized.

• Skin wise, I prefer the skin of it now to keep it what I'd call fashionably simple- if it suffices, we do have a custom favicon and logo.

• The wiki is void of inappropriate language on pages and inappropriate images.

Based on the odd chance that this does, indeed, get accepted, the following image is the one I've chosen- once again, used to keep it simple and not overwhelm the wandering eye.

Are you still interested in a spotlight? If so, you would need to work on sprucing up the main page -- add some images and links to major types of content. In addition, you will need to fill in the mobile main page using the "edit mobile main page" option in the edit menu on the regular main page. The next book of the Edge Chronicles will be published the 26th July 2018. It would be great if we could get a spotlight around that time. We believe we meet all the requirements:

• Two active admins, Gloamglozer and Martingloamg
• 282 out of 1639 articles are now under 300 bytes and we are still expanding articles (in April, there were over 860 short pages!)
• Organized main page with access to important articles
• Mobile page that gets updated from time to time
• Clear categorisation, no uncategorized pages
• The welcome tool is a bit wonky, but that seems to be a general issue on other wikis too, we've contacted the support
• Customized skin, klickable Image Maps and clear and welcoming structure

Pixel Gun Wiki (approved)

Hello, I would like to request a spotlight for the Pixel Gun Wiki. The wiki features the following:

• An organized mobile main page.
• A few hundred readers in the most popular pages.
• There is only one incomplete article.
• The wiki has pretty much every single feature of the franchise in articles.
• The wiki has unique customizations and templates, including the new category browsing templates in the wiki's categories found in the navigation. The categorization (at least from the categories in the navigation) is perfectly structured.
• A nicely done main page in Oasis.
• Dozens of minigames, where a lot of people have fun in.
• Has a decent score in the WAM (89-90 is a good score compared to most wikis).
• Me and half of the staff are very easy to communicate with.
• The wiki disallows inappropriate language, spam and vandalism. Even if the users did that, they will be warned.
• No insights whatsoever, because there are no wanted pages, and all articles provide at least one category, one link and an image.
  • However, some articles do not have an infobox, but they do not need one.
• The wiki is always being improved in many ways.

The Elemental Academy Roleplay Wiki (approved)

Hey! I'd like to apply for TEA to become a wiki spotlight. As mentioned, I am an active admin as well as a bureaucrat and the founder of the wiki. We have approximately 468 "article"-type pages, and there are categories on every one of them (I personally make sure of that). The webpage is decorated, and I'm currently working on the mobile page which should be done in a week or so. I don't think I've ever seen a Roleplay wiki on Wikia Spotlights, so I'm a bit nervous about how to go about this.

Rodeo Stampedia (approved)

Hello, I’d like to make a request for a spotlight for Rodeo Stampedia. I am the founder and bureaucrat of the wiki and worked on it in my spare time while completing studies, and up until recently I mostly worked alone with little help being offered. I began this project in December last year and since then I have edited hundreds of photos, particularly baby animal photos, completed countless templates and created 200+ pages alone to create an organised, functional network at Rodeo Stampedia, as I was dissatisfied with the other Rodeo Stampede wiki, Rodeo Stampede Wiki.

Since then, I have received help from Nickarmstrong84, however, I would like more attention for our wiki as our wiki is heavily based on collecting animals which need to be described and need photos added, which require a lot of assistance. So far, the skeleton of the pages are there but the details have not yet been added as they require a lot of time which I do not have. I would also like to further increase our popularity in comparison to Rodeo Stampede Wiki as I want to showcase our quality information about last year's top 10 game on the App Store Rodeo Stampede. The wiki can in turn be a collection of discussions to improve and add new, exciting features back into the game. I also foresee a new update coming soon, which will require 50+ pages being added in a short amount of time, so greater attention will increase the chance of attracting a willing contributor who can support myself and Nickarmstrong84, especially as I continue my studies.

Our wiki meets all the requirements, with the mobile main page being complete, all pages having categories and the community corner being customised. We have 550 pages, in which at least 500 of them meet the requirements, despite many of them being incomplete, and we are set to grow when there is the new addition of an island.

If this request is accepted, this image can be used.

Subnautica is a great game, developed by Unknown Worlds Entertainment.

I would like to request a Spotlight for our wiki, because the game is currently in Early Access and will be released at the end of January or early February. Our Wiki has all the informations from the game, a great community and a good design with some CSS code (more code will be added soon). And we already have some Featured Videos.
The Spotlight will help us to make the community bigger, the wiki and the pages better with new contributions and of course: to premiere the big V1.0 release!

Merchant Rpg Wiki (approved)

I'd like to request a spotlight for the Merchant mobile game Wiki. The Wiki covers information for the traditional Rpg mobile game Merchant for Android and IOS. The Reddit and Discord communities are very active, however, the Wiki community only consists of me. Tyler, the game dev just released his first DLC expansion for the game which kickstarted the community. I'm hoping that a Spotlight will help attract new people to the game, but more importantly the Wiki. Since adopting the Wiki in February I have made 3,394 of the 6,537 edits on this Wiki and I need help.

Terraria Fan Ideas Wiki The Sequel Wiki

I would like a spotlight for this wiki. I know that we have 152 pages at the time I give this request, but I would still like to apply for when we get the requirement. We are working on stubs, we have a active community, two admins (Me and Chipper the Crow), we have filled out the mobile main page, we meet the main page requirement, we DID have inaproppiate content (which was luckily fixed by the admins of that time), the MediaWiki:Welcome thing isn't customized, but it still works, and we meet every other requirement. True Tail Wiki

• We are a community of over 200 active editors and we have over 250 pages.

Deltora Quest Wiki (approved)

Hi, my name is Archer of Az-Zure and I am an admin on the Deltora Quest Wiki. Our wiki is dedicated to exploring and understanding the world Emily Rodda created through her Deltora Quest book series and the anime. We would love a Wiki Spotlight.

• We currently have 1003 pages.
• There are very few pages under 300 bytes.
• Our main page is well detailed and easy to follow.
• Our mobile page has recently been updated.
• We have a clear category structure and a Manual of Style.
• There are no uncategorised pages, the wiki says there are a couple but it seems to be some glitch with some Gallery pages, you can check this in the source code.
• Our wiki has 4 active admins and are currently not looking for any others.
• We use the FANDOM welcome tool, and have a customised community corner message.
• We strictly follow FANDOM'S rules and regulations.

Hello! I am applying for a spotlight for Miitopia Fanon Wiki! I would like to get recognised and we are kinda looking for more contributors.

• Both bureaucrats (including me, the founder) are currently active.
• As of right now we have less than 50 stub pages (all pages <300 megabytes) and 493 pages
• The front page has many links to important pages to the wiki, including a help section and all content categories. Mobile Main Page is also edited.

Hypothetical Hurricanes Wiki (approved)

Hello, I was wanting to attempt to have the wiki spotlighted again to coincide with the start of hurricane season. Currently we have 83 short pages that are under 300 bytes which is around 1% of all the content pages. We are working hard to categorize uncategorized pages with appropriate category names. Hello. WikiHorses looks good, but in order to be spotlighted it would need to have 200 non-stub content pages which are longer than 300bytes. If you look at the list at Special:ShortPages, you can see that there are only about 140 pages that meet that criteria. Please work on expanding the existing content - it probably only needs a sentence or two on each one to make them long enough. Spirit Halloween Wiki (approved)

Hello! I would love a spotlight for the Spirit Halloween Wiki. While the wiki only has one page under 300 bytes, there are some minor issues with many articles, mainly around grammar. However, please don't allow this to reverse your decision, as I am working on the articles, and, in fourteen days, 182 of the wiki's articles were verified/fixed up so that they are: known to have/have flawless grammar. (I implore you to look at this page for the best articles the wiki has to offer.)

Hello. MenuMaps Wiki looks good and congratulations on reaching 200 pages. In order to be spotlighted you would need to make a few small tweaks. The first is that all 200 pages need to be non-stubs (longer than 300bytes) for a spotlight. As you can see in this list, you have about 10 that are very short and need to be expanded to reach that goal. You also have a few pages that need to be put into categories. Finally, your main page is a little disorganized; can you re-organize it so there is more focus on links to the various types of content, and the "add pictures" text is no longer there? You may also want to consider filling in your wiki navigation with more links to help readers find the pages. Tracy Beaker Wiki!

Hello y'all, I'm looking for editors and contributors towards Tracy Beaker Wiki! We have ALL the knowledge and gossip on CBBC's The Story of Tracy Beaker, Tracy Beaker Returns and, better known, The Dumping Ground. If you didn't know, the series' follow life in a children's care home, as they get up to mischief, make friends, have adventures, and a look at what life is like without a family. (It's a drama series for children!)

We are running extremely low on editors here; we desperately need new editors. A new series is coming up this Autumn, so we will need extra help then. Our wiki, to say the least, is slightly messy and unorganised, many templates are out-dated and some pages need spelling and grammar checks.

Hello. The wiki looks good, but more than a quarter of your content (just over 1000 pages) are shorter than 300 bytes, which is considered stub length. I made over 776 pages of the Disney Live Action Remakes Wiki. This is based on all the live-action remakes of Disney's animated and live-action hybrid films, though The Sorcerer's Apprentice and The Nutcracker and the Four Realms were inspired from segments of Fantasia and Mary Poppins Returns while a sequel, I consider it a sequel/reboot similar to Superman Returns. Spirit Halloween Wiki

Hello! I would love a spotlight for the Spirit Halloween Wiki.

The wiki already documents all known animatronics released by Spirit from 2017 onwards, and is making outstanding progress on previous years! All in all, a spotlight will benefit this wiki very much, as the last one occurred in late September to Early October. If the spotlight is set up, I would love it if it would happen, instead of being so late and long past when Spirit Halloween's lineup is revealed, in the month of July. Most all of Spirit's animatronics are featured in videos released several days apart during this time, so I think that it would be a lot better for this wiki in particular to have the spotlight when the excitement is highest.

Lessa Wiki

Hello everyone, I would like to request a community spotlight for Lessa Wiki. Currently, I'm the only active contributor on the site, having adopted it at the start of the year. We need more contributors to help us expand/create wanted/missing pages, write articles, and build a community. So far, the site has 349 pages and 4,163 edits.

At Lessa Wiki, we're aiming to provide detailed information about all aspects of the Lessa Manhwa, from the characters and chapters, to the world and weaponry. The first two seasons have been officially translated on Line Webtoon, with a third season being released in Korean, on Naver.

Lessa is a Fantasy/Action Korean Manhwa written and illustrated by POGO. The current season is being published every Tuesday on Naver. The Webcomic follows the journey of Rano, a young man who lost his Mother in a Deman (a compound of Demon and Human) attack five years ago, at the time of the incident his sister Lucy also disappeared, and he's spent the last five years searching for her, along with his friend and doctor Young-sam, archaeologist Miena, researcher Yuzuru and Lessa a God looking for redemption. The group set off to find out the truth of what happened to Rano's sister and rescue her, before it's too late, battling Gods, Demans and Renegade Angels along the way.

The series draws on aspects of Egyptian mythology, astrology and theology to create a series that is both beautifully drawn and wonderful to read. Although, the series isn't a comedy, there are several wonderfully cute moments that will have you laughing out loud.

Spirit Halloween Wiki

Hello! I would love a spotlight for the Spirit Halloween Wiki. If the Wiki spotlight is given the go-ahead, either of these images would be fine, with the preferred being first:

The Wiki already documents a large amount of props from over the years and is making outstanding progress on those props that do not yet have articles! All in all, a spotlight will benefit this Wiki very much, as the last one occurred in late September to Early October. If the spotlight is set up, I would love it if it would happen, instead of being so late and long past when Spirit Halloween's lineup is revealed, in the month of July. Most all of Spirit's animatronics are featured in videos released several days apart during this time, so I think that it would be a lot better for this wiki in particular to have the spotlight when the excitement is highest.

EDIT: Since this was removed and never added back, I guess sometime in September to October would work if you still do it this way.

I can only copy of Help page:

• The community should have at least 200 content pages, not counting stubs. Stub, or very short articles and articles marked with a stub template should make up no more than a fifth of all pages.
• The main page should have at least one picture and clear links to the most important content.
• There should be a clear category structure to help readers navigate around the site. Every content page should be in a category (Special:UncategorizedPages should be empty).
