Watch Dogs Wiki

Hello, Watch Dogs Wiki isn't really up to snuff in terms of both content and, maybe, design. The launches in a few months and I really want this to be the superlative of information on this game. I've narrowed done some things we need help with:

• Content
• Policy
• Templates
• Design
• Main page

I've added a few modifications to the design, but I don't think that'll be enough. I'm not someone who is well verse in photoshop (or illustrator) so I could really use this help in that department. We also need advice and tricks on trafficking more users to our site. I know articles and SEO are key, but for a wiki that has been around for a bit a time and has gone nowhere, the user base dies out. There is a clone wiki that has more article currently. The situation between the two wikis is complicated, so I'll stop there. Hyperdimension Neptunia Wiki

Hello! I'n the founder of the Hyperdimension Neptunia wiki. I'm the main and practically only contributor to this wiki aside from the occasional minor editors here and there. It's a duplicate wiki sure enough but it has so much more content and organization than the wiki that came before it. I know I shouldn't expect for it to become successful over night but it's kind of ridiculous that my SEO is nothing like it should be. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Westbound Wiki

Hi,

We could really use help improving our front page, please. As of 5 minutes ago, we meet the qualifications in the top section. We spent ages getting our categories in order because we knew we could do that ourselves. I just finished categorizing pages. 

If we're going to add more colors, I suggest using some of the colors we recently chose for our new (not quite implemented yet) Quest Series walkthrough format. That's in one of our admin's blogs, here. We can get more screenshots, too, if it would help. However, suggestions as to what kind of pictures we're looking for might improve our offerings.

It seems most of us are logical, organized types as opposed to creative types. We're doing our best, though! :-)

Hi Amwl. The Community Development Team does not take requests to create communities from scratch. What we do is help to improve existing communities that have had a significant amount of effort put into them by the founder and any editors. I encourage you to create a Portuguese version of Six Guns Wiki and try to find people who would be interested in helping get it started. Once the Portuguese Six Guns Wiki exists, make a request for interlanguage links on this request page, and we'll set it up. Ok, thanks. But the Six Guns wiki isn't really a popular wiki, it's just runs on a few people(10+) and the Brazilians(those who speak Portuguese) are only 2 people. So looks like it's back to Google Translate for them!

Half-Minute Hero Wiki

Request for Main Page assistance: F1 Wiki

I'd like to request some help with designing a new contents section for our main page at F1 Wiki. The main page has remained mostly unchanged for a few years and we would like to bring it up to date. The plan is to create a slider-based multi-layered contents section in the middle of the main page, similar to that on Gran Turismo Wiki but with several levels. The GT Wiki main page was one JoePlay helped with a couple of years ago and I helped to complete, so if/when the idea is implemented, I should be able to customise it as and when necessary. Unfortunately I don't have the required Java knowledge to implement this.

The main window would contain pictorial buttons for Seasons, Drivers, Constructors, Grands Prix and Circuits, along with a link to our most popular articles and our Featured Article. Each button would then lead to a submenu. For example, Drivers would lead to Current Drivers/Drivers by season/A-Z; Grands Prix would link to Current Season/Grands Prix by season/by nation. The other top-level buttons would lead to similar submenus.

As I've only ever seen a two-level version of this in use at GT Wiki, I don't know if this is possible/feasible but I wanted to ask. The wiki checks off all the requirements on the Community Development Requests page, although we did recently promote a new admin based on his good work.

Hi Crazy. To make a wordmark, you will need to use image editing software. A very good and free program is {{#NewWindowLink:http://www.gimp.org%7CGIMP}}. For the favicon, there are several online {{#NewWindowLink:http://www.google.com/search?q=favicon+generator%7Cfavicon generators}} to choose from that make it easy to create a favicon. Be sure that the wordmark image is a .png file that's 250x65 pixels or less, and be sure that the favicon image is a .ico file that's 16x16 pixels. JoePlay (talk) 20:03, April 7, 2014 (UTC)

I am one of the editors of the PAW Patrol Wiki. I have a request. Can you redesign the wordmark on our wiki? The wordmark we currently have is a bit small and we want the wordmark to be redesign to make it bigger so that readers can read what is on the wordmark.

Me and another user, SirBlaze, were discussing on how the wordmark should be redesigned. We still want to retain the PAW Patrol insignia, but we want the word 'WIKI' to be rearranged to be on the right side of the insignia. Bordered around the 'WIKI' word would be a bone, similar to the word 'Patrol' which is inside of a bone on the insignia.

If you can redesign the wordmark to what I and SirBlaze had in mind, that would be great.

To be sure that put Mumble (on the center left), Erik (on the center left with Mumble), Sven (on the top left and make him seen flying) Gloria (on the center right), Lovelace (on the center right with Gloria without a rainbow sweater), and Atticus (on the center right with Gloria and Lovelace).
