A month ago I asked the Finnish wiki's admin to let me have his wiki's language changed (it was incorrectly marked as English). He didn't respond in a full month, so I had it done anyway. Now the following links can be easily made.

Ehehe. I don't want to seem rude, but some time ago, Monchoman45 made a script to accomodate mass requests like that above, cause I was always in here linking 20 wikis at once and stuff. I am told that the wikis must be listed in the format above for an admin to use the script.

Some of the wikis above are linked to other Wikia Uncys. For instance in Inciclopedia gl: is mapped to desgalipedia, while in Uncyclopedia nn:, lo:, km:, ms:, oc: are mapped to ikkjepedia, lo.uncyclopedia, km.uncyclopedia, bodohpedia and oisquipedia respectively. Hi from Neciklopedio (neciklopedio.wikia.com),

We don't know why Uncyclopedia isn't hosted at Wikia anymore, and we don't really care... it is not our concern... but, we are an interlanguage project relying on each other's mutual support, and as an English speaker, one of the easiest ways I can find all the interlanguage links for a given article is by checking Uncyclopedia, and the old Uncyclopedia hosted at Wikia is broken. So could you please update the interlanguage link tables of Neciklopedio so that English interlanguage links point to en.uncyclopedia.co instead of uncyclopedia.org?

it.mlp is the wiki currently interwiki linked to all of the other language wikis listed above, as well as the English language version. Linking English to English (for example) wikis together is possible - but it wouldn't quite work the same as an interlangiage link. It wouldn;t appear at the bottom of the page. Instead, it would be a convenience for inline cross-wiki linking - similar to using [[wikipedia:ARTICLENAME]] to link to Wikipedia. A custom, easy-to-use prefix can be defined for that purpose. Okay, I have reviewed activity on both wikis, and it is clear to me now that it.mlp has for all intents and purposes been abandoned. I am quite happy to change the interlanguage links to it.mylittleponyitalia.

It is supposed to be Hvetshrenu (conlanguage), but I was unable to create a hv.hvetshran since hv. simply doesn't exist. Do you think I can request Wikia to move it to that domain and then request an interlink after? Yatalu (talk) 17:09, March 29, 2013 (UTC)
The problem isn't with the URL, but with the language of the wiki as set on the server. This is currently English. Obviously, we can't just change the server language, as Hvetshrenu isn't a real language in the first place.
You'll need to explain to Staff exactly what you want with this wiki - how you want a wiki in this fictional language, and ask if it is possible for them to make it work on the server.
