The Sonic's World series of stories is a collection of strips designed to reveal more about Mobius and it's wealth of secondary characters.

It began life as a 3-part origin story revealing life on Mobius, Sonic the Hedgehog's first meeting with Miles "Tails" Prower and briefly covered the plots of the first two Sonic the Hedgehog video games. The next stories were dedicated to introducing minor characters like B.A.R.F. and "Tonic", but also gave starts to popular creations Shortfuse the Cybernik and Tekno the Canary. In time, the series focused on any character (other than Knuckles the Echidna) and showcased adventures that didn't fit in with the main story of the issue. Towards Issue 100, the stories showed life on Mobius with the Freedom Fighters, coping while Sonic was stuck in the Special Zone. Once Doctor Robotnik was deposed, there were very few Sonic's World stories, largely being replaced with Double Sonic and Amy Rose strips.

A brief series followed this focusing on Amy and Tekno. Despite "Sonic's World" appearing (in small font) in the logo, the strips are better known as Amy & Tekno ones.

The Sonic's World banner was revived for Sonic the Comic Online, once again starring secondary characters while the main strip is in progress.
