Once again, I have a template loop, though I have no idea as to why.

You are trying to using the template on the page it needs to be defined on. On the first line, you are trying to call Infobox_television, but you are already on the page you are retrieving.
I'm having several problems on this wiki. Problems I have never had before.
I was trying to create that template, not use it.
I have also been trying to make category pages link to headers. Any ideas, because ... me if I know?
I'm trying to get pages to appear in their respective category pages - which I'm trying to link through the header section - and I have no clue. Why did Fandom have to change how everything works? I feel real dumb with it all now and I didn't before!

I feel like those things should not have changed before, and it might be better to compare the two side-by-side to see what is different. Do mind the language on this wiki though.
For infoboxes, the infobox builder is available to use, and you edited the entire template in the source editor.
Everything has changed. Before, all you had to do was copy the template across into source mode and boom, it worked.
Now? Now, it doesn't.
Oh, I give up. I'll get someone else to do it. It's not doing what I want. I'm done.
You seem to have done some backsliding since being the great editor I knew on Downton Abbey wiki.
You obviously didn't copy the template in source mode from the source wiki. Try again. You also never gave us the link to the wiki where you tried to copy the template from, so we can't help you as much as we otherwise could.
I know you can do better, just calm down and give us more info.
The last time I edited on the Downton wiki, I wasn't making templates for it, so there weren't any problems. Are you still at the Downton wiki?
I borrowed the template from wikipedia's page. I'd find the link, but I've had so many tabs open scouring the internet to find a way to make this work, that I'd never find it again if I tried...
Edit: from here specifically - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Infobox_television
Are you also able to help with my other problem I noted above?
Edit: Edit: If you reply, it's 02:24am here, so I'm off to bed and will look at answers in the morning.
You can't be correct when your premise is wrong.
1) Never said I had. I said there weren't problems before as I wasn't making infoboxes. Everything else was - relatively - straightforward.
2) I have no idea what that is.
3) Good to know.
4) I'll look on Fandom tomorrow when I get up as I have to sleep now. I really need it after four hours of trying to make stuff work.
I sympathize with your frustrations, as UCP wikis are mostly awful, but if you reduce your expectations to a simpler wiki to start with, they are usable.
Feel free to come here on thee forums for continued help and review User:Noreplyz/UCP to see what you're up against.
