Appologies if this question has an obvious answer but is there a way to display the latest pages that have been created and the latest forum posts that have been created, on the main page of a wiki?

If anyone could help with this I'd really appreciate it! :)
There's the template newpages, but it doesn't allow you to set up your own layout design. I've been searching for information on this too, so help would be doubly appreciated.
Easily done if DPL has been enabled on your wiki (If it isn't, you can contact staff to request it be enabled)
<dpl> namespace= count=10 ordermethod =firstedit order=descending </dpl>
Results: <dpl> namespace= count=10 ordermethod =firstedit order=descending </dpl>
addeditdate=true will list the date as well.
Same goes for forum posts. (Old forum, I try to avoid the new forum)
<dpl> namespace=Forum count=10 ordermethod =firstedit order=descending shownamespace=false </dpl>
Results: <dpl> namespace=Forum count=10 ordermethod =firstedit order=descending shownamespace=false </dpl>
Obviously, you can change the count value if you want more or less than 10 results.
For "Recently edited" forum posts, rather than "recently created", use "ordermethod=lastedit"
You could also use "namespace=Talk" and "ordermethod=lastedit" to list recently edited talk pages.
(Edited because the new version of DPL doesn't allow "namespace=main" - also, the DPL example was working in this thread at the time of creation.)
{{Special:NewPages}}You could then hide stuff like editor or comments with CSS. There are lots of possibilities if you can express your formatting needs.

It is <wikiaforum />.
