Hello: Is there a (more-or-less) comprehensive list of available fonts? Sorry if this has been asked and answered before, but I could not find such a list. Thanks, VJS

No. The way font's work on the web, either the viewer's computer has to have the font or the website has to provide it. Fandom does provide some fonts but only because they use them as part of the global Fandom theme. The list of fonts they import is not public (or at least not easily accessible).
Fonts that are common enough to likely be installed on the viewer's device are called web-safe fonts. Since it is not a standardized list, it can vary depending on who you ask. However, one such list can be found here. If the font you want is a web-safe font, you can probably use it without importing it.
If the font you want isn't a web-safe font, then your wiki will need to use its local CSS to import the font. If the font is available from Google Fonts you can read Help:How_to_import_Google_Fonts for instructions on how to import the fonts you want. If not, let me know and I can instruct you on how to import other fonts.
Thanks. Actually, I already had read that, and created a CSS and imported a couple from Google fonts - but I had no way of knowing whether they were redundant, or what was available by default. You have answered those questions.
Are there any other sites besides Google fonts, that provide similar service?
Thanks Again,
VJS
I know there are plenty of font sites out there. However, you need to be careful about the licensing of those fonts. Another thing to keep in mind is that most other font sites will require you to download the font file rather than import it directly from their servers. When this happens, you will need to then upload the font file to your wiki and use @font-face to import it (instead of @import). Uploading the font file requires that your wiki accept that particular file format; which it doesn't by default. To have support for a font file format enabled on your wiki, you will need to contact staff and submit a request.
Edit:
Also, as far as I know, there are no help page for this type of font import.
Thank you Andrewds1021. That's all pretty much what I had guessed. Yeah, I can (and have) downloaded lots of fonts - to my PC. For our wiki, the fonts that I was really after are the Tengwar scripts - I thought it would be cool to throw up some text in those fonts.
I really appreciate your time and assistance.
Thanks again,
VJS
