Some of my images have been used in wikias without respecting licensing terms. Thus they are copyright violations as they stand at the moment. What is the procedure for removing them or asking the uploader to fix the attribution?

So, here I was thinking that 99% of your images fail to live up to the attribution terms, but I did find some done correctly. So here's a shout out to:

Good job.
Back to the incorrect ones:

I've corrected the licensing and attribution on the files linked up to this point:
99of9: As a point of note, the people on this forum aren't necessarily the users of that wiki - so the users probably don't know you're having an issue. The best way to make sure they know is to contact them directly on their wiki.
Ok, thanks RansomTime. I'm not very familiar with Wikia, so to me it looks like it's all one thing. As you can see, my photos got used incorrectly in many different wikis, and I'd rather not engage with every one individually. I'd prefer if the Wikia community somehow tightened up its regulations or patrolling or something, because it seems like a pretty widespread problem. For example, to illustrate the point, I just looked at your image uploads, and found this
http://community.wikia.com/wiki/File:Black-metal-band.gif
which appears to be a copyvio to me. I don't mean to pick on you, but I think it is symptomatic of the community not taking copyright and licensing seriously enough.
Thanks Rigel, that's probably all of mine. There's still an awful lot at
http://allbirdsoftheworld.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Featured_images
some taken by friends of mine, and I'd rather not have to bother to send them all here to complain.
The wikia community is really a collection of communities - although central is the place you'll find the most of us, I don't think many admins check the forums very often.
I think the attribution problem is a problem with the internet at large. For example - with the Black-metal-band.gif - I think I found this either linked on reddit's r/metal via imgur, or someone's last.fm profile - neither of them gave any credit to the original author.
Can you assert that you own the copyright on that .gif, however? It looks to me to be a clip from a band's video, which would be copyright to the band itself - making it into a different format doesn't give you copyright over it.
I didn't say *I* owned the copyright to that file, simply that it looked like *you* do not. If you do not even know who owns the copyright, then you've got no chance of knowing whether it's freely licensed. Quoting your help page:
http://community.wikia.com/wiki/Help:Image_copyright_tags
Please remember that all images uploaded to Wikia should be used under fair use or are images that are freely available, with or without conditions or restrictions.
This highly unlikely to be the case for that black-metal-band, so it should not be uploaded. That people do it elsewhere on the internet is not really an excuse.
This is still a problem:

You could send some DMCA notices if they haven't changed it. http://community.wikia.com/wiki/Help:DMCA_takedown_notice
