There are 2 problems with my wiki:

- I can't put more than oneresume on someone's user page.
Why are these problems occurring?

Let's test it shall we?
I think 1em is 13px, not 16.
Hi
What size is that ?
1em is as big as the font size of the element. If your font size is 1px, 1em is 1px. If your font size is 2px, 1em is 2px. If your font size is 3px, 1em is 3px. And so forth.
1pt is 1/72 inch.
Can I give you my wiki's Episode template? __NOTOC__{{#if:{}|{{ETab|{title}}}}} {| class="infobox" border=1 align=right cellpadding=3 cellspacing=0 style="Roundy; padding: 3px; margin-left:5px; margin-bottom:5px; width: 300px; text-align: left; font-size: 95%; border: 2px solid #A1871F; background: #F8D030;" |- | style="Roundy Top; background: #f2b850; font-size: 110%;" align="center" colspan="2" | Episode Information |- style="text-align:center; vertical-align:middle; font-size:90%;" colspan="2" style="width:100%;" |- | style="background: #f2b850; font-size: 110%;" align="center" colspan="2" | General |- style="text-align:left; vertical-align:top; font-size:95%;" {{#if:{}| style="width:50%; font-weight:bold;"Season №: style="width:50%;"{seasonnumber} }} |- style="text-align:left; vertical-align:top; font-size:95%;" style="width:50%; font-weight:bold;"Episode №: style="width:50%;" {{#if:{}|{{Data:Production|{title}}}}} |- style="text-align:left; vertical-align:top; font-size:95%;" {{#if:{}| style="width:50%; font-weight:bold;"Airdate: style="width:50%;"{airdate} }} |- | style="background: #f2b850; font-size: 110%;" align="center" colspan="2" | Credits |- style="text-align:left; vertical-align:top; font-size:95%;" {{#if:{}| style="width:50%; font-weight:bold;"Writer: style="width:50%;"{writer} }} |- style="text-align:left; vertical-align:top; font-size:95%;" {{#if:{}| style="width:50%; font-weight:bold;"Storyboard Artist(s): style="width:50%;"{storyboard artist} }} |- style="text-align:left; vertical-align:top; font-size:95%;" {{#if:{}| style="width:50%; font-weight:bold;"Supervising Producer: style="width:50%;"{supervising producer} }} |- style="text-align:left; vertical-align:top; font-size:95%;" {{#if:{}| style="width:50%; font-weight:bold;"Animation Supervisor: style="width:50%;"{animation supervisor} }} |- style="text-align:left; vertical-align:top; font-size:95%;" {{#if:{}| style="width:50%; font-weight:bold;"Main: style="width:50%;"{director} }} |- style="text-align:left; vertical-align:top; font-size:95%;" {{#if:{}| style="width:50%; font-weight:bold;"Storyboard: style="width:50%;"{director-storyboard} }} |- style="text-align:left; vertical-align:top; font-size:95%;" {{#if:{}| style="width:50%; font-weight:bold;"Animation: style="width:50%;"{director-animation} }} |- style="text-align:left; vertical-align:top; font-size:95%;" {{#if:{}| style="width:50%; font-weight:bold;"Creative: style="width:50%;"{director-creative} }} |- style="text-align:left; vertical-align:top; font-size:95%;" {{#if:{}| style="width:50%; font-weight:bold;"Technical: style="width:50%;"{director-technical} }} |- | style="background: #f2b850; font-size: 110%;" align="center" colspan="2" | Chronology |- style="text-align:left; vertical-align:top; font-size:95%;" {{#ifeq:{{Data:Episodes|{title}|0}}||| style="width:50%; font-weight:bold;"Previous: style="width:50%;""{title}|0}}" }} |- style="text-align:left; vertical-align:top; font-size:95%;" {{#ifeq:{{Data:Episodes|{title}|1}}||| style="width:50%; font-weight:bold;"Next: style="width:50%;""{title}|1}}" }} |- | style="background: #f2b850; font-size: 110%;" align="center" colspan="2" | List of episodes List of episodes |} |} "PAGENAME" is a New and Improved Milk and Quackers episode from {{#if:{}|season {{#switch:{seasonnumber}| |1 = one |2 = two |3 = three |4 = four |5 = five |6 = six |7 = seven |8 = eight |9 = nine |10 = ten |11 = eleven }}}}.

Ex is the equivalent of em, except ex changes x-height (the height of a standard, lower case letter), and em changes the width of a standard letter.
See this page on MDN - 1ex = ~0.5em in most fonts (but you have to remember that refers to height, not width like em does).

And to answer your question, it varies based on the font you're using. However, it will generally be around 2.

You learn something every day.
Though, I don't see much point in basing your designs on the height of characters in a font...
