Does .theme-fandomdesktop-light or/and .theme-fandomdesktop-dark even work in the CSS or have I been using the wrong code? I've been using this code for a while but it never works. Is there any other way to do it?
What's on your mind?

Is it considered poor style to add a link within a heading?
is there a way to make zoomed in images in sliders? so details on the important stuff of the images can be seen noticingly
Hey, I want to see if there is a way to change the colour of infoboxes on my wiki. I tried looking through guides and forums for an answer, but I still can't figure it out. If anyone knows how or can help me, that would be appreciated.
I'd like it so you can change the colour on indiduvial pages, so maybe like a parameter that you can input the colour in, or something like that.
He is an infobox template on my wiki for reference.

I’m trying to but I can’t figure out how to edit the color of the opened area of the table so I’m asking for help.
Hi, sorry if this has already been answered. I have trouble understanding why my page doesn't come up on google search, but someone else's does?
My page: https://merge-cooking-theme-restaurant.fandom.com/wiki/Merge_Cooking:_Theme_Restaurant_Wiki
Theirs: https://mergecooking.fandom.com/wiki/Mergecooking_Wiki
What I don't understand is, how did they get theirs to come up first thing on google search when I can't even see mine anywhere? Mine was built earlier and has more content, which is supposed to help with SEO... but it didn't seem to have an effect.
Thank you for your help!
Alternatively, could I center it instead?
I was trying to customise the tables on the fandom mobile skin through the FandomMobile.css, but I'm unable to and I was wondering what I do wrong or if it's not possible (or against their policy)?
.skin-fandommobile:not(.fandommobile-fandom-theme) .article-table-wrapper table th {
text-align: center;
background-color: pink;
}
How it looks right now (top img) vs. how it should look (bottom img)
I've searched a lot of things on this but, while I add codes into the CSS they just made the every pages' background transparent, how do I only make homepage background transparent?
As you see the current homepage title is just "Home", but I wanna remove this how to do it
On the Team Fortress 2 wiki, I've noticed they have those sweet rotatable images, which I'm pretty sure are just swipe-able galleries of still jpgs used to make the illusion of a 3D model. Did anyone make something similar on Fandom before so that I could use it for my wiki?
Example rotatable image in the infobox in this article.
Hello all!
I'm not a "coder" and for the life of me I can't really figure out how to properly make CSS code.
I have some notice and navigation box templates on my wiki which currently only work when on the light theme, as when you put dark mode on the font and background colors don't change along with it.
I've tried to read up on the ".theme-fandomdesktop-light" and ".theme-fandomdesktop-dark" but I have no idea how to actually use those tags in the CSS.
And then I guess/think that has to be somehow added to a specific "div class", which then needs to be inserted into those templates?
The templates I'm currently working on are these:
Or rather, I'm using the code from those templates on a sandbox page as I don't want to break anything in the meantime.
There are other templates aside from these as well, but if I could get some pointers about how to proceed with this stuff I think I can fumble my way through the others with the same concept.
Any and all help is hugely appreciated!
I kinda overexaggerated on what I said on last post, sorry. I can't find out how do I get these little background images in the gallery. I'll give a wiki that has it.

I don't really use code, but I wanted to redesign the headers and boxes on this wiki. The blue is how they currently look, and the pink is how I'd like them to be now (made in Photoshop).
How would I be able to make this design? Is it possible with the base tools available or will I need to add some code to the MediaWiki to make it possible?
Hello sorry another noobie question incoming. I have a gallery on the main page of the fandom, however it's in a 3 image wide arrangement, is there a way to change this? Thank you
On this wiki I'm on, most navboxes use tables. The header will be centered and there will be the expand/collapse button thing on the right to view the rest of the table. The issue is, the expand/collapse text sets the right bound of where the header centers itself, pushing it to the left. It also means that the header moves a little to the left depending on whether it says collapse or expand, because the two words are different lengths.
I would like this gone, and for the expand/collapse text to be ignored when the header is being centered, if possible.
This graphic demonstrates both the difference when expanded/collapsed, and that both skew the header right of the red line, which represents the true center.
I am able to access the wiki's css, if that helps.
Surely this is a really common problem?
When I post the page url of my wiki to Facebook it just shows a big blank box.
The preview before I hit "post" shows the main logo image for the wiki.
But when I post article pages, they either show the wiki logo or the infobox image, and that's fine.
What have I stuffed up?
