  • News items for popular fandoms such as Game of Thrones and Marvel appear on their "Home" tab alongside Discussions posts.
  • If you have a Fandom community app installed, the Fandom app will show you that fandom on the 'Discovery' screen, making it easier to switch from community apps to the newer Fandom app.
  • Users can tag posts with specific articles on that wiki. 
  • By tapping on a tag below a Discussions post, users can see the article and other content associated with that tag. 
  • All communities now reflect the color and background theming its admins have chosen.
  • Admins and moderators have the option to hide deleted posts from Discussions.
  • Search for content in any of your followed fandoms without having to visit a fandom's page first.
  • You can upvote or reply to a post you are following more directly when viewing a push notification
  • A "Recently Added" section on the fandom discovery screen shows you which topics are new in the app.
  • Users can access related posts when reading wiki articles.
  • For the most popular fandoms like Game of Thrones or Marvel, you can see related editorial news in the "Home" feed of that topic. 
  • Users can tag posts with specific articles on that wiki. 
  • By tapping on a tag below a Discussions post, users can see the article and other content associated with that tag.

Community Apps: Latest Features

  • All community apps are now compliant with the new European law GDPR
  • Users within the EU will be asked to accept or reject data tracking upon opening the app for the first time.
  • EU users can change their mind about being tracked in the app settings.
  • Due to the new European law GDPR, the apps are no longer available in the store to users within the EU.
  • We are no longer actively supporting the iOS community apps and won't be fixing bugs or adding features.
  • You can find all the same wiki articles, Discussions and more in the unified iOS FANDOM app.
