- Hey there, per Joseph adoptions are a means for users to gain bureaucrat/sysop rights on a wiki where they either have no rights, or limited rights. Since you are the founder you already have both of these rights. The links Joseph provided above are very useful (With his permission I went ahead and added another) so you should definitely take a look.
