When I link to my wiki ( on Facebook, the thumbnail of the link pulls the very last line from the disclaimer on the bottom of my main page to use as the Thumbnail. I found that this line is added to the header meta og:description.

Is there a way to update this header meta or do I just need to plant a site summary at the bottom of my main page and hope the og:description is updated from there?

I think you should edit your MediaWiki:Description, this is the text that appears in the serach results on Google and I think it works with Facebook too. leviathan_89 18:26, 17 November, 2012 (UTC)
I don't think this is it. The MediaWiki:Description text is different than what is appearing as the preview on the Facebook links. This text is actually found in the header of the webpage under <meta od:description>. I'm just not sure how my "disclaimer" ended up as the od:description. Is it possible that you can post a link here to your facebook so that we can see both sides of the coin? I can see your wiki, but have no clue what you're talking about on the facebook end of things without being able to see the thumbnail. 20px_Rin_Tohsaka_Avatar.png Mathmagician ƒ(♫) 06:43 UTC, Thursday, 22 November 2012
