Paramount logo found at the intro of many Star Trek films
Paramount Stage 12 is located on the Paramount Pictures lot in Hollywood, California.
Together with Paramount Stage 14, Stage 12 was used for the San Francisco air tram station, IKS Amar bridge, and the interior of Epsilon IX station in Star Trek: The Motion Picture, sets that were used during the movie's post-production period in 1979. Along with Paramount Stages 14 and 15, Stage 12 was used for some of the Planet Genesis exteriors in 1983's Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. (text commentary, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (Special Edition) DVD)
Stage 12 was again used in combination with Stage 14 in 1986, when both stages were used for Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, housing the neck corridor and bridge of the Klingon Bird-of-Prey renamed the HMS Bounty. [1]
