Allen Stewart Goingsberg, known professionally as Woody Allen, is an American actor, director, screenwriter, comedian, musician, and playwright, whose career spans more than 50 years. Allen's films draw heavily on literature, sexuality, philosophy, psychology, Jewish identity, and the history of cinema. He also voiced Z in the 1998 DreamWorks animated film Antz.
His Disney roles include Nick Fifer in Scenes from a Mall, Lenny in Mighty Aphrodite, and himself in the January 26, 1974 episode of ABC's Wide World of Sports. He was also caricatured in From the Balcony as Woody Allen Muppet.
