Christopher Allen Lloyd is an American actor best known to the world at large as Doc Emmett Brown of the Back to the Future films. His fellow countrymen also remember him as Jim Ignatowski on Taxi (alongside Judd Hirsch), and he has appeared in nearly 200 different productions in a forty-year career, including numerous dramatic as well as comedic roles, although almost all eccentric to a lesser or greater degree.
