Mortal Kombat 3 is a fighting game published by Midway Games and Williams Entertainment Inc. and released in 1995 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and Game Boy. Mortal Kombat 3 is the sequel to Mortal Kombat II and the third main installment in the Mortal Kombat franchise.

Mortal Kombat 3 is the first game to not feature Scorpion, Raiden, and Johnny Cage as playable characters and the only entry to omit masked traditional ninja characters from it's playable roster.
The game was featured on the cover of Nintendo Power V78.
The game won the Coolest Code/Trick award in the 1995 Nintendo Power Awards for the "Kooler Stuff" code.
Most of it was downloaded in Arcades.
