Len Wein (12 June 1948 – 10 September 2017; age 69) was a well-known comic book author and editor.
He worked for Marvel Comics for a number of years and is best known for being a co-creator of DC Comics Swamp Thing and helping revive X-Men for Marvel. He authored eight issues of the Gold Key Star Trek comics in 1971 and 1972:
- #9: "The Legacy of Lazarus"
- #10: "Sceptre of the Sun"
- #11: "The Brain Shockers"
- #12: "The Flight of the Buccaneer"
- #13: "Dark Traveler"
- #14: "The Enterprise Mutiny"
- #15: "Museum at the End of Time"
- #16: "Day of the Inquisitors"
These issues were reprinted in the second and third installments of Star Trek: The Enterprise Logs, in turn reprinted in the Star Trek: The Key Collection.
Wein also scripted issues #31-37 and #39-40 of DC Comics Star Trek comics in 1986 and 1987.
