ABBA was a pop group from Sweden, consisting of Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Björn Ulvaeus and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, and active between 1972 and 1983. Its song Waterloo won the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest in Brighton.

The group scored international successes during the 1970's and early 1980's. The group name means Agnetha, Benny, Björn och Anni-Frid, who were the members.
