William Oliver Stone is an American film director, screenwriter, producer, and military veteran. He is well-known for writing the screenplay many political and war dramas, such as Plantoon and Natural Born Killers. He also wrote and directed biographical films, such as the 1991 film The Doors.
For Disney, he directed the 1995 Hollywood Pictures biographical drama Nixon.
