Ok, so you know, on FD beta it shows the pfp of who did something, to identify them, someone spammed upvoted on my posts I tried to show it using FD beta pfp feature to one of the admins but it just only shows you like 10 they spammed 100, I still had like a few recent replies clogging the way. This is just dumb. Another thing, if they could show the PFP, why not username. IT MAKES ME SO MAD WHEN I KNOW THAT THE PERSON/PEOPLE WHO SPAMMED UPVOTES GOT AWAY WITH IT! This is not at all a "harmless prank" this is straight up harassing. But whatever not that, I'm just saying on other wikis some people face this problem (not as many) but still it's really annoying and it would be a lot better if you could actually load more notifs in FD beta.
What's on your mind?
Currently the only parameter input method is just a field that can be typed in freely. I am suggesting that is implemented in the template data editor. Basically you should be able to select an "Input type", these would include:
Field; This is the current input type
Boolean; A checkbox that changes the parameter to True or False
Multiple Choice; A dropdown menu with custom choices (Changes the parameter to the choice selected/the default choice which can be chosen)
Numerical; Won't allow the template to be changed/inserted unless it only contains numbers. (Could still be changed to letters or symbols in the Source Editor)
I think this could help simplify templates and help keeping templates the same from page-to-page
So... Again, thank you for the guys that helped me with the tables and tabbers problems. I have one more. Recently, when I visualize a page in the Italian Mario Wiki, all links are blue, even the one that don't exist. You could say I messed up some in the theme-changer (which I didn't), but if you visualize the changes in edit-mode, the "empty-links" are red like they should be. So... anyone can explain this? It's not a big deal, but I would like to immediatly know what pages we don't have instead of placing the cursor on it.
Also, another problem: with the new Wikia design we can't make link text bold anymore. At least, not in the simpliest way ('''[[link]]''') but we can in the alternative way ([[link|'''text''']]). Again, not that much of a big deal, but isn't this a waste of space/bit that could make the editing slower or something?
Is there a way for me to use FandomDesktop's dark mode in the discussions tab?
Thanks to Death Battle Fandom's new layout, I can't comment anything on the Comment Section Central. Also, the character articles look weird and the character images take up almost the entire space of the article.
Just take a look at these:
What should I do? Is there any way to fix this?
I can’t find my fandoms now because there’s no links or pages to where I can find them they need to add this
I have literally created this account entirely to ask this question, because I use Recent Changes to keep an eye on certain franchises and check when new information has been released and/or translated to english. The fact that Recent Changes seems to have vanished when using FandomDesktop makes this pretty difficult to do.
When exactly will the new layout appear. I've been having nightmares because of this.
In the new FandomDesktop theme, is it possible to set a background image for the whole page, instead of just the top area? Our wiki (Girl Genius) currently has a tiled background image that covers the whole page.
Is it possible to do this in the FandomDesktop theme? If so, can it be done through the new theme designer interface? If this is the case, where do I add a background image? I have been unable to figure it out on my own. If it cannot be done through the theme designer interface, can a tiled background image be added through customized CSS?
Like, the new fandom changes are very confusing. I usually click the top box to go to my profile, but, I tried without really thinking about it, and almost logged out of my account. Which would have been bad, because I had forgotten my password (I reset it now, I don’t need help with that). I really need these changes reversed (Just the changes with the UI, not any of the Beneficial changes), how to I do that, if I even can?
So I was mass changing galleries after Fandomdesktop happened to get them to have 250px and centered in the article space and captions centered (basically making mass edits like this (https://shakugan.fandom.com/wiki/Shakugan_no_Shana_Manga_Prologue?type=revision&diff=35588&oldid=34026):
<gallery widths="250" position="center" columns="2" spacing="medium" hideaddbutton="true" captionalign="center">
Flame_Haze.jpg|The Flame Haze.
Denizens.jpg|The Crimson Denizens.
<gallery widths=250px heights=250px mode="nolines" class="center">
Flame_Haze.jpg|<div style="text-align: center;">The Flame Haze.</div>
Denizens.jpg|<div style="text-align: center;">The Crimson Denizens.</div>
Now today I look at the page and though both look bad in editting previews, the former is now doing what I want and the FandomDesktop one I was changing it to is no longer centered. The text is also smaller.
So my question is did the galleries change and will the old Oasis gallery code I was using work from now on? This is very annoying.
Fandom,I want to do something.
To Prevent Willg alts from vandalizing the pages in the Trollsome wiki,Can you admins enable Hardware Bans?
Shortly before changing to the new fandom style, I noticed something: I was unable to post comments on articles, regarless of the wiki I was in. Do you know how to fix this problem and why it has appeared? It still is affecting my account.
Here's a picture:
As you can see, I cannot post comments nor reply them, and I am pretty sure that the comments weren't disabled on this page.
How do you load the community default theme for each wiki instead of either loading only dark or light for all wikis?
I think it was working properly for me until I pressed the light/dark button on the top right, and now for whichever one its on, that loads for all wikis.
I'm just wondering.
So each wiki's page count is no longer visible on the main wiki pages but can be seen in Discussions (like here for this wiki). Is there any plan to reintroduce the count to main wiki pages some place, because if not, wikis with no discussions can't seen it and you would have to go to Special:Statistics or something.
I have a few things I’d like to tell fandom, but I’m not sure where.
Can someone here help me?
The Fandom Desktop preparation guide details several attributes of the "slideshow" gallery as now unsupported. widths is still supported, but for some reason on this page on Battlefront Wiki the 500px width does not seem to be applying?
Edit: ok the link does not seem to be going to the specified section, but the problem I am referring to is in the Body and head combinations section
