The Avatar: Macai's Journey wiki has now reached over 500 pages and photos. It is still developing, but I wanted to know if I could get feedback regarding the future development of the platform. As of now, I still have not been able to get 5 consistent editors.

I noticed people view the Wiki, but no one ever seems to comment or anything. I recently added some new logos and other stuff. You can find the platform here Avatar: Macai's Journey Wiki | Fandom.

What is AMJ?

Likewise, the AMJ wiki offers a unique more Fire Nation centered perspective of avatar. On this wiki, you can read articles, get direct feedback from the author, make art, offer criticism that could lead to the development of the series, and discuss avatar lore in general.

What's written so far?

At the moment, the AMJ wiki includes articles about several characters, locations, and conflicts that took place in the story. It also includes numerous discussions and tributes of characters and themes.

Future plans

The AMJ wiki will include more articles and content related to the extensions of AMJ such as Avatar: Lingering Tensions and Avatar: The Vindicated Avenger (which is still being developed). In addition to this, the AMJ wiki will include fan interviews which are in-universe fictional interviews of AMJ characters.

Thank you all for your help and advice. Would it be acceptable if I came back to fandom every few months and released a poll asking for specific feedback? Would it be acceptable if I listed poll topics such as:

How would you rate my wiki's creativity?
How would you rate my wiki's article structure? Please list suggestions and advice.
How would you rate this wiki's variety of activities?
What is this wiki's entertainment value?
What are some activities that you think might bring value to this wiki?

I honestly adore feedback, discussions, and getting different perspectives from experienced and inexperienced users. Of course, I don't want to hog everyone's attention which is why I won't want to overdo it, but I believe your opinions are valuable.

Also how often is too often, I wouldn't post these more than one a month but maybe every 2 or 3 months is better. If fandom discussions are not the right place could I do this on discord?

I have a question regarding this wiki but not this particular topic, I don't see any comment options on my wiki pages even though the comments option should be enabled on the wiki (navigation says it is). This is true for both protected and unprotect pages. How can I fix this issue?

I was in the same situation as you once but I just ended up moving on and finding other Wikis where I fit in better. Truth is, you can spend a lot of time in Fandom but there are other productive things we should be doing. Being in a Fandom where an admin or a few admins have a negative view of you that seems to be biased and seem to be incapable of compromise means more of your valuable personal time can be lost trying to fight people about something that doesn't really matter much.

Unfortunately, some people use their positions as extensions of their pride and egos. Fandom is run more like an Articles of Confederation than the United States of America. With that being said, I would refocus my time on other entertainment, your career, and personal life.

That is assuming you are right. I wouldn't know since there are two sides to every story and I wasn't there. Though my claim stands.

I will work on removing protections from several pages. The reason I did this is because I had another wiki as a teenager which encompassed information regarding a clan that I led. The clan had its own wiki and once we were vandalized by some random person. As a result, I decided I wouldn't let that happen again.

I think it was an overreaction to one event which I easily reversed when I had the time to edit the changes.

Does anyone have advice for wiki promotion?

I am the bureaucrat of the Avatar: Macai's Journey wiki. I've noticed new users look at my wiki but, I hardly get any comments, discussions, or feedback. I've been wondering if there are ways to promote my wiki and look for new sources of engagement.

AMJ is looking for volunteers to play as voice actors and for the presentation of character monologues. One such monologue has already been made of Macai. Auditions would be conducted for any interested participants. Voice actors have the option to remain anonymous or have their name credited.

A new feature of the wiki called the Creative Zone is in development and would offer interested users to post fan art and make poems in the discussions board. The creative zone could include fanon short story pages so long as the articles are of respectable quality (few grammatical and spelling errors).

By default, these stories would not be part of AMJ's timeline, but they could be approved if they are of quality. These stories would need to be organized in categories by anyone who posts them.

If anyone wants to share more feedback regarding the AMJ wiki's growth, please do so. The wiki now has over 300 pages and it has a new logo. I am looking to add some new activities to give viewers something different to look at.

I know this probably isn't the best place, but this is related to my wiki. I'm looking to enhance my wiki by finding a few voice actors who can preform monologues for AMJ characters. I plan on sharing the lines on the character articles within that wiki. Is there anyone here who is willing to do speak?

The time commitments are not major, they are minor. Someone could meet once a month if they want to or sooner if they can. There is no judging here, just a chance to test someone's voice out and see if they can create something. And the way to get it down can vary, someone could even make the monologue themselves then send it to me so that I could look it over and see if it fits.

The time it takes to get done depends on the person. It might be finished in 15-30 minutes. And an individual that is able might be able to voice act for more than one characters upon request.

Just as an update, I wanted to say I added a lot of changes to this wiki's navigation pages after hearing a recommendation from someone. It now should include more details than before.

Are you a fan of Avatar: The Last Airbender? If so, you might be interested in this community. Avatar: Macai's Journey is a fanon Fire Nation centered spinoff and expansion of the Avatar: The Last Airbender series. This fandom has gathered nearly 500,000 views on Webnovel in around 2 years and it is available for reading in several other platforms such as the Avatar Wiki. It had so much content, that I felt it needed its own wiki and it is still actively growing.

Unlike most fanons, AMJ is called a sub-franchise. The reason being is it has several planned spinoffs, prequels, and sequels. AMJ tells its own story. Not really because of the storyline or plot as much as how it is a whole other world within a world that many know and love. Can I Contest a Wiki Ban?

Some time ago, I got banned from a Wiki for political reasons. I say political because no due process was really used regarding the ban and it had more to do with opinions and feelings than anything else. For a while, I didn't care to contest it because I was more active on other Wikis at the time. One reason for the ban has already been debunked.

Another reason was probably about a critique I had with a series. But I don't think I should be banned because I give an opinion that an admin doesn't like. I've also noticed admins on that Wiki frequently abused their power and threatened to ban users just to have control.

Part of me doesn't even want to go back because of that pettiness but another part of me does just so I can make polls regarding the franchise (and for the audience since a good amount of people use that Wiki). I also shouldn't be banned forever from a wiki just because I disagree with someone. The excuse that was used was vandalism but that couldn't be further from the truth.

Would it be acceptable to create a Christian Wiki?

Same question for other religions too. The reason I ask is because it seems like people have a lot of freedom in what to make a Wiki about but it seems like many Wikis don't allow religious discussions (which makes sense because it can avoid arguments and going way off-topic.

Reasons I ask is because I think a Christian Wiki would have a lot of content. It could discuss:

The different denominations and why they're different
The many bible books, stories, fables
Different christian views on current events, trends, and movements
Different christian philosophies

Let me know. If it is allowed, would anyone be interested in co-making one?
