I'm sorry if this is the wrong category for this, I looked through them and didn't know where this subject would fit. Anyway, I'd like to adopt a wiki. I put up a poll and my editing streak is at 7 or 8 days in a row. What I'm a bit frustrated about is that we cannot adopt wikis until late January, which would break my streak. Now, I understand that people go on vacation and people don't see them and think, have they left the wiki? I understand if people would start on the requirements for adopting a wiki for that reason, but one of the requirements is the wiki has to have inactive admins/bureucrats for at least 60 days. I feel like, if the admins/bureucrats have been gone since September at least, it would be reasonable to adopt a wiki. In this specific case, the owner has been gone since 2021 and the owner didn't promote anyone before they left. The wiki itself is very active, it just doesn't have any moderators or administrators. So what I'm confused about is why we can't adopt wikis from late December to early January?
