No, Fandom won't be changing its name. The announcement was just an update to MediaWiki, which is the software that runs all of the wiki components here on Fandom (and other wiki platforms as well).
You can see the help page about MediaWiki here:
https://community.fandom.com/wiki/Help:MediaWiki
Wildtech automatically removes comments that is triggered by a filter.
But if you don't want to receive any notifications from Staff blogs, you can install the IgnoreNotifications script which automatically marks them as read based on specified criteria.
https://dev.fandom.com/wiki/IgnoreNotifications
I also let Fandom Staff know about it, since it's a serious issue that can lead to vandalism on blogs.
As what Marisa mentioned above, your userpage can be edited by other users as it's a wiki page. You can see more details about how to edit it here:
https://community.fandom.com/wiki/Help:Profiles#Bottom_section:_Wiki-specific_content
As for your masthead, which is shown on every wiki, it can only be edited by yourself and/or users with global rights (such as Fandom Staff and SOAP). So you don't have to worry about anyone changing it into something bad.
Edit: Since you are new to Fandom, you can see this help page which consists of multiple sections, such as editing a page, adding images, editing your profile etc.
https://community.fandom.com/wiki/Help:Getting_Started
As No0n4m3S said above, that is not allowed as it violates the Forking Policy. I've let Fandom Staff know about the fork on the wiki.
I blocked them for vandalism. As for the harassment part, you should wait for Fandom Staff to reply if further if further actions is needed. I also let Fandom Staff know about the situation as well.
Edit: It seems they have been harassing you since August, which I've also let Staff know as well.
Edit: Double Ninja'd. The replies were made at the exact same time.
Since the block was made in April, you can try to appeal it on their message wall here on Community Central. Remember to keep it civil and don't harass the admin while appealing.
https://community.fandom.com/wiki/Message_Wall:An_Enderman
But if they don't reply within a few days or they don't unblock you and you still feel you have been unfairly blocked, you can talk to Fandom Staff regarding the situation.
https://support.fandom.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
You can use the IgnoreNotifications script that allows you to ignore notifications from a specific wiki.
Edit: Ninja'd
Your posts were automatically deleted because they were off-topic and breaks the Discussion Guidelines and Community Central is not the right place to discuss about Star Wars.
But since you are blocked on Wookiepedia for 6 months, you have to wait for it to expire. Since you've already appealed to the local admin, you should wait for them to reply. You can also talk to Fandom Staff if you still think your block is unfair,
It is one of the CC admins, Supreme Emperor that removed the message on your wall. You can message them on their wall and ask why they removed it.
https://community.fandom.com/wiki/Message_Wall:Supreme_Emperor
No problem. And yeah, unfortunately Discussion polls only allows up to 6 options so you need to create multiple posts if you want to create a second part of a poll.
You don't need to wait for them to create the poll or add them to the wiki pages, as these polls are created in Discussions.
If the DiscussionsPollEmbed is complicated, there's a similar script known as the AjaxPoll where you just need to copy the thread ID of the poll and paste it into the page.
For example, if this poll were to be added on a page the embed needs to be like this:
<div class="d-poll" data-id="4400000000000055759"></div>
Since you aren't an admin on the wiki, you aren't able to edit pages in the MediaWiki namespace.
So you have to ask the local admins to do that, and since you have already reached out to TennisPro17 (who is the most recent active admin), they need to add the dev:DiscussionsPollEmbed.js code into their MediaWiki:ImportJS page.
Edit: I didn't saw it was already added, my bad. But as Sonziliad said, you need to read the usage section and you should be able to embed Discussion polls.
Yeah, SOAP does not deal with content issues (as in this case copying content). So it's best to contact Fandom Staff about it.

If the wikis are about the same topic, the newer one would be considered as a duplicate which is not allowed on Fandom.
As in a private wiki that only you are allowed to edit and no one else? These wikis are not allowed as wikis should be open to everyone to edit.
Edit: Didn't read your question correctly. It's best to have a fanon wiki surrounding a topic that other people are familiar with (such as a TV show or a game).
Gblocked the user and reverted their edits. The vandalism is due to the wiki being forked to another platform which happened about 1 year ago.
The WikiCube already covers the 3x3 Rubik's Cube, so making a wiki about it would be considered as a duplicate which is why it was closed as Fandom doesn't allow duplicate wikis. And I think the 3x3x3 page already covers enough? But of course you can improve the article itself.
https://rubiks.fandom.com/wiki/Rubik%27s_Cube_(3x3x3)
Regardless if the user (or anon user) is a vandal or not, doxxing is still against Fandom's ToU.
It's the wiki navigation, and if you are a local admin on the wiki you can change it by editing the MediaWiki:Wiki-navigation page.
You can read more about the wiki navigation on the help page:
https://community.fandom.com/wiki/Help:Navigation
As No0n4m3S said above it's not allowed on Fandom as it violated the Community Creation Policy.
If the wiki has forked to another platform, it should be left for new editors to edit it (and not discourage them to edit on the wiki). Pleae see the Forking Policy as what No0n4m3S linked above as well.
