Either that, or you can also report it on the Fandom Discord Server. Whichever one is up to you..
To add on what n0n4m3s said, you can also report them to SOAP, but on the community Discord server.
@German Kaiserreich that’s maybe because your on that post already so of course you won’t get a bell notification. To add on to KoolCyborrg, the more you report the bug to Fandom staff, the more it could be solved on your end.
The more you report the bug to Fandom Staff, the higher chance it could be solved and help other users out. Hope this helps.
Are you talking about desktop notifications on a mobile device..? You can also switch your phone settings to desktop mode. KoolCyborrg is correct. You still won’t be able to miss notifications. Phone notifications from Fandom appear as a yellow dot in the corner of the bell. Computer notifications appear as a number in the corner of the bell. To conclude, if you want to view notifications that look like desktop notifications, switch the settings of your device to desktop mode. Happy holidays.
You can report them to Fandom staff. What you can also do is ignore them as you are feeding the troll.
You can politely ask the users to stop necroposting if it’s against the rules on the wiki where your the administrator on..?
Maybe they’re clicking on user profiles who’ve been on Fandom for years and are looking at their activity tab…? However, I’m pretty sure that’s considered necroposting.
Edit: What Natolix said is also true.
Yes, you would do it, moving the page if you want to change the page title. Moving the page will not just change the title, but it will send users to the “new” page rather than the old one. You would know it’s redirected when it says, “This page has been redirected from [blank]”. Redirecting and moving are the same thing.
^ This is the correct button.
To add on what KoolCyborrg said, it certainly can be a bug. I’ve been experiencing a bug lately where I’m globally banned for about a minute or so, then I’m unblocked. My best advice would be reporting it to Fandom as you may be mistaken for an actual user that’s already blocked.
Yes, not just for that but also to make pages. You have to switch to desktop mode to make pages…
Alr thanks for the information. Yeah, you should contact an admin about this…
I’m pretty sure if you guys go back and forth reverting your own edits, it could be seen as vandalism…regardless of who started it or not. Hopefully someone corrects me if I’m right or wrong.
No problem, and you will know if your account is disabled if it’s a Fandom profile picture avatar.
Yes, after you choose the closing account option, you have 30 days to restore your account. After the 30 days, your account will be disabled and you would not be able to log back in.
To add on what n0n4m3s said, you can also suggest your feature or other suggestions in the Fandom Discord server.
Ok, thanks for the information.
Would ban evading increase your actual ban time...?
It's been a bug that a lot of users including myself have been impacted by. Just be patient it will be solved at one point...
You should contact Fandom support and their should be a category that says, “I want a wiki representative for my wiki.”) Oh and your wiki will need to have an active community of editors.
