Lately a wiki I moderate has had a lot of bots appearing, making pages to promote a person (usually a singer) and then leaving. I’ve blocked them and deleted the content but this has been happening over and over with different bots. Is there any way I can prevent this happening? Or do I just need to keep blocking them after they’ve made the spam content.

I have images set for the background for both light and dark theme, but the "fade" is still taking the color from the default wiki background.
Is there a way to set the wiki background color to transparent?
The recent images section of a wiki I admin has this awful blue fade on it that I can't figure out how to remove. I've set the right-rail to transparent, but it's still there.
I want to know if it's possible to add a slider to the main page of a wiki that stretches across the whole page.
Here's an example from Amazon:
The sliders shows several different images and stretches across the entire main page.
I tried messing around with sliders widths but at some point you can't make it any wider than the largest default.
Above is the current slider at max size.
This is ideally what I would like (ignore the stretched image, I did this quickly in paint). Either this size or stretching all the way to the edge of the homepage. A "strip slider" I think it's called.
Is this possible at all?

Hi, I know how to apply CSS cross an entire wiki.
I am asking how I would apply that code site wide via CSS.
Also, I have no use for slideshow/slider galleries. I am asking if it's possible for normal galleries.

Would there be a way to insert this code for all image galleries in CSS?
Is there a way in CSS to create a default gallery theme?
For example, if I want all galleries to use the code "position="center"" as a default (rather than position="left"" which is the default), would there by a way to do this in CSS instead of going through and editng each gallery individually?
That's a shame, I wish fandom would give us more options to edit our home page.

Is it no longer possible to edit the mobile main page? I am asking about the home page, not the mobile wiki theme.
When I click the vertical ellipsis on the wiki home page and select "edit mobile main page" it brings up the editor.
It gives several different options. The promote your wiki section changes the text on the left sidebar on the discussion board but does nothing to change the homepage. In fact, no matter what changes I make, nothing seems to change at all when I preview the wiki on mobile or open it on my phone.
Is there no way to customise the content on the main mobile page?

Here is the result for anyone curious
For me personally the top level category goes in itself to stop wiki telling me it's uncategorized (my top level category is always "NAME Wiki").
Imagine someone forgot the name of a banana. They know what it looks like, but they don't know what type of food it is. They've only ever seen it on TV. So they go to the food wiki and they see two categories "food" and "colors". They click on food which contains categories such as "fruit", "vegetables", "grains", "meat" etc. This is no good, because they don't know if a banana is a fruit or a vegetable or a grain or meat.
Instead they go into the color category and click yellow, because they remembered that a banana is yellow. From there they click through until they find what they're looking for.

It did, however. leave a massive gap between the logo and the navigation labels. Don't suppose there's any way to close that gap?

There's nothing in the customization policy about hiding the wiki name from the header bar. Here it says "On the left, there is a graphical site logo, along with the community name. By default, the text adopts the wiki's sitename, but both the site logo and text can be customized via Theme Designer." I also can't find anything on the Help:Sitename page about hiding the sitename from the navigation bar.

Or something similar.
