Idk, it's a dry wiki. it has lots of info on it so i want to save it

It's right next to the text.
In a wiki a normally edit, there is a little arrow that leads to Special:RecentChanges. but on my wiki there is no arrow. how do i make the arrow that leads to Special:RecentChanges? i can go on the page, i just want to be faster at it. (and if it's an admin thing, ok)

On a wiki i always see these boxes (such as the table of contents or a box where all the characters names are) and when i look at the code i see nothing. how is this done? because it looks cool and i want to try it for my wiki as well
