Since I have a Featured template with an image, the main image for all featured pages is that image. How can I change that to another image on the page?
Solved, the hidden image took effect
@Andrewds1021 *sigh*
Still no
I'll add that to my Featured template, actually.
@Fandyllic Verypositive is the image that I want displayed but not to be displayed in "Popular Pages" for pages like the one I linked to, "Speedo". Do I have to include the main image for the page and ruin my intended structure for Featured? What should I do?
A Minecraft Struggle
Since I have a Featured template with an image, the main image for all featured pages is that image. How can I change that to another image on the page?
I know this is old, but if you wanted, you could try to also implement an optional "section" parameter (whole article by default) for a
{{MessageBox}}
All of these answers should solve this desire now.
@Sophiedp I put that in my MediaWiki:ImportJS file, does it execute when I delete a page normally or is there a special button or page?
Basically, if this is not true, how can I?
And also, how can I without the page existing in the first place (e.g. planned features that were scrapped before the page was created)?
OK, I'll just go with restricting the pages to administrators, the warn-then-block system will just be used for any other page.
(AKA, solved.)
@PortablePortal I think telling them not to do it and blocking them worldwide for a bit could do, but if I were to do your suggestion instead, I still want users to be able to suggest edits to the character pages. How'd I set that up?
@PortablePortal I have protected the pages to Autoconfirmed Users, but I still want some users to be able to edit it if they know how to improve it, still keeping the ability to disallow the ability to do so on a specific character page.
I feel like this kind of post is one that maybe a newer Fandom user would create, but I'm still asking this because I need to know.
I have my own Fandom wiki with character pages that have a lot of carefully-worked-on information. To prevent having to keep reverting one user from editing a character page maliciously, how can I block said user from only that character page, not from the whole wiki?
(I'd like a quicker answer.)
@Andrewds1021 (I know I've already been told that @ ing is useless for people that have already replied to a post, but it feels more natural to me) I'm the owner of the wiki.
Wordmark
For "Favorite Color: Red", I want "Red" to be in red text.
There are two ways I can think of to do this but don't know how to do some of the steps:
Turn the text red via Fandom or a change-text-to-some-color converter. Duh!
Link to the page "Red", and disallow the creation of the page by anyone, including administrators if blocking the creation of it by administrators is possible.
How?
