How does an admin/bureaucrat go about stopping a blocked user from posting messages/replying to messages on their own wall?
How does an admin/bureaucrat go about stopping a blocked user from posting messages/replying to messages on their own wall?
I also find it really strange, not to mention inconvenient :')
I am an Admin, and I'm trying to make someone else a Content Moderator
But I see that the point above states that Admins can only grand thread mod and rollback, so I sent a request to the bureaucrat of the wiki for the user ^^
Hmm then why is it that the only options that I have are Threadmod and Rollback? The content moderator option is visible but I can't actually select it
Ahh really? Alrighty thanks!
I'm an Administrator,,
I've been trying to promote a user to Content Mod but the only groups given that I can change are Threadmod and Rollback, how come?
Thank you but I'm a bittt confused lol- these aren't my rights I'm referring to, I'm happy as an administrator but a wikian with the thread mod permissions wasn't supposed to have it indefinitely
Im not the one who promoted them, though, so I suppose it could be that the admin who did give them the perms didn't do it correctly, then
A while ago, a user on a wiki I'm admin on was temporarily promoted to Thread Moderator (which was supposed to expire I believe in January this year) and well. it's November and they still have the thread mod badge, so I assume their permissions haven't expired either
How do I fix this? Person's inactive so I dont see a point in letting them have the perms
As far as I know only Admin+ can ban users^^ but I believe every mod can check user rights,,
Thank you both!!
Can they only gain access to locked pages and deletion? They don't have thread moderator permissions either right (like deleting/editing other user's comments and such)
I thought this was a problem only I was having, but it's been like that since yesterday too
I'm unaware of any way to fix it from forums, though, sorry :'0
I see that they have this feature for most searched articles that I believe is new so I guess the improvement led to the search bar glitching in Discussions? I guess it'll be fixed soon
I've never actually resized an image before lmao so um, as I'm trying to now, what's the width and height I should enter to resize a gif to fit as a Fandom pfp?
They'll still get announcement notifs from the wiki though, which I think is what they meant by ''how to not get notifications from a wiki''
hmm looks like others are having the problem, too
thats interesting because its still fine for me
Havent had these problems yet, hmm
Thank you SO much !!
I deleted a page on a wiki I'm an admin on because I believed it to be fake, but then I got some proof that it should remain. I was wondering if there's a way to restore it easily with all the text that was on it before
Ooo alrighty, thanks :D
