My wiki is using citation template for books, and I believe that it would be a good idea if the number of primary authors that can be listed in it could be expanded from one to two, like this:

|last= [insert last name] |first= [insert first name]

to

|last1= [insert last name] |first1= [insert first name] |last2= [insert last name] |first2= [insert first name]

The problem is that I have no idea of how to rewrite the code for that template so that it matches the result I want. Can anyone help me?

I want to adjust the color for the style used by my infoboxes on the FusionFall Wiki. What I want is for the background color in the "image" field for my infoboxes to be completely black. Said image field is used as an example in the image below:

I know that infoboxes like FusionFall Wiki's Template:NPC infobox | FusionFall Wiki | Fandom uses the ' infobox type="style" ' documented on the MediaWiki:Common.css | FusionFall Wiki | Fandom to determine its design. However, I have no idea of how to modify the code on MediaWiki:Common.css to make the background in the image field black. Can anyone help me?

I have tried implementing the famous Vdelinks template for my Wiki's https://fusionfall.fandom.com/wiki/Template:Navbox. The vdelinks template I have established for these Navbox-based templates is this one:

Now, the trouble I am facing is that when I use Templates derived from the navbox, such as my wiki's https://fusionfall.fandom.com/wiki/Template:Area_Navbox, the Vdelink template embedded in that Navbox will take me to either the edit, talk or view of the https://fusionfall.fandom.com/wiki/Template:Navbox instead of those articles associated with https://fusionfall.fandom.com/wiki/Template:Area_Navbox. As such, I would like to know what I have done wrong.

I am an admin working on the FusionFall Wiki. For a good while, I have been considering implementing proper infoboxes to replace the Wiki's outdated tablet-based infoboxes, especially the commonly used NPC template. The NPC template in particular, while highly creative, has a lot implications that not only makes it hard for me to replicate, but it also translates poorly when the wiki is switched over to the mobile skin.

Now, the problem for me here is not constructing an infobox, but translating the design of the original NPC template over to an official infobox template, as I don't want to be disrespectful towards the original creators of the template by abandoning their hard work (and because I think it is a neat design trick). I am no code designer, so I can't really explain how it works. However, as it can be seen in the link above, the NPC template makes use of existing images to create the horizontal line grid inside its frames. I was thus wondering if it is possible to make such a line grid appear inside an official infobox template (like in the design below)?

Greetings. The FusionFall Wiki has what appears to be the typical Navbox template for site navigation that is usually placed on the bottom of articles. The template of which I refer to is here.

When used as a parent template, I am able to produce a template like this template for showcasing items.

Recently, I have needed to add subgroups on parent templates using the Navbox on the FusionFall Wiki template, like in the example seen here:

However, the Navbox template on the FusionFall Wiki does not come with instructions, and I am far too stupid to figure out the code on my own. I was thus wondering if any of you out there can figure out how the FusionFall Navbox works and tell me how to add subgroups in a template using it.
