Hello, Fandomians! My name is Jenny, and I would like to share my new project, the My Life as a Teenage Rabbot Wiki, which is about two years old, since its founding birthday is coming up in June later this year. I'm making this so you can get all the information you want about a fan series that doesn't even exist, somewhere around the urban legend of Polybius in terms of its non-existence, well… lack of physical existence. I love to write and document characters and episodes (which I still gotta do sometime). Furthermore, I want to give everyone a chance to read about the current episodes, characters, galleries, and so much more that's on there that exists on the wiki.
What is your wiki called?
My Life as a Teenage Rabbot Wiki
What is it about?
The wiki, at first, was originally going to be about a scrapped fan-fiction I have on my computer that I have stopped development on due to loss of interest in 2020 due to a housing situation killing all sorts of motivation. But I then took that and rebooted it into a fan-series that has been going strong for a year now. Almost two years now, to be exact. The My Life as a Teenage Rabbot Wiki, also known as the Rabbotpedia due to our nickname that was given to us by our community. It should not be confused with the My Life As A Teenage Robot Wiki, a similar fanon wiki related to My Life as a Teenage Robot, while we are about a television series that doesn't exist. Try looking us up, and you'd get only just My Life as a Teenage Robot, not us. So, to prevent confusion between the two of us, we dubbed ourselves as the “Rabbotpedia” to be more cool and hip with the cool kids.
We are a wiki platform that frequently encounters confusion when users attempt to find us on Fandom or other web platforms due to the similarity in spelling of our names. The final part of their wiki's name is spelled as “R-O-B-O-T” (e.g., “My Life as a Teenage Robot”), whereas ours is spelled as “R-A-B-B-O-T” (e.g., “My Life as a Teenage Rabbot”). Do you find it confusing too? It is for us when you say it five times fast, so we use the “pedia” part in “rabbot” to get the name “Rabbotpedia”.
We, like other wikis, are a community-driven wiki project that strives to provide a comprehensive repository of information related to the My Life as a Teenage Rabbot television series published by Universal Pictures and The Kennedy/Marshall Company. (since we don't exist, we have to make it ourselves.) The wiki format enables users to create or edit the wiki, fostering collaborative efforts to make it a comprehensive source of information related to the show. Despite the fact that the show is fictional, the community collectively contributes to its development. Additionally, the wiki offers various platforms such as forums, blogs, and a Discord server for users to share their thoughts and creations. This provides ample opportunities for fans to engage with the My Life as a Teenage Rabbot franchise alongside fellow enthusiasts.
Yes, this was lightly copied off from the about page, which does give an in-depth history on how the wiki started out first-handedly.
Why are you making a wiki about this topic?
I'm making this wiki due to me wanting to expand my writing abilities and to basically document on what if such a series like this had existed, and since it does not, my job here is to make it exist. That, and I love writing, so I contribute to the wiki constantly to where I spend multiple nights on documenting every last morsel there is on the wiki, which we almost have 300 pages as of writing this. So far, I've written about a good ten to twenty or so pages, thirty if we count the ones that aren't stubs, which we're still busy on dealing with over here. Nobody likes stubs, and neither do we, just like that one itch on your back that you can't quite reach. That aside, I'm making the My Life as a Teenage Rabbot Wiki to both a) give me something to do and b) show the world of what kind of imagination I have, since the series was thought up by myself, so I'm putting all of this in the wiki-text format.
Why might people want to join your community?
If they like fanon content and would love to contribute or lend a helping hand, anyone's welcome to help us out! The more, the merrier, you know? We're looking for contributors and, when the wiki does explode in activity, administrators, content moderators, and rollbackers as well, like what you see on every other wiki that exists on Fandom. If you'd like, you're more than welcome to help us out by checking out our Manual of Style guide on the wiki to get a good rundown on what to do and what not to do. If they like to include their fanon content, they can ask us, and we can include them into our expansive episode navigation guides.
What have you written so far?
So far, I've written articles about Mapleville Ridge, Wisconsin, Jubilee's Marketplace, the Negative Universe, Mapleville Daily, and so on, and plenty more are coming up in the pipeline! If new developments pop up, I'll add them onto the linked articles and make more on the way in the next coming months or so!
I've written an article on what is the newspaper publishing company that exists in the city, lightly derived from my personal life.
The Negative Universe is, according to memory and in the series' lore, is a pocket dimension. It is a pocket dimension that is made out of the negative thoughts and emotions of people from around the My Life as a Teenage Rabbot multiverse, hence the name. We're still getting something for the No Image placeholder for the Negative Universe and other pages that have said placeholder on it.
Jubilee's Marketplace is your average no big-box grocery store with quite the colorful history behind it. It was lightly inspired by my hometown's Kwik-Star and Kum N' Go gas stations, albeit with a creative twist added in, followed by some not-so-sweet controversy. Why? Realism and actual information, as we're partnered with a few other fanon-related wikis as well, and we're the meat and potatoes, due to us hosting actual information.
Mapleville Ridge, Wisconsin is a fictional city that is located in the center of real-world Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. Other people suggested to me that it should be based off Glendale, I went with the opposite route and made a fictional city that is in a real-life county. To make it more futuristic, I have the series set far in the future as it is set in the year 2083, so roughly ten or so years after the events of My Life as a Teenage Robot. So, you can say that I dedicate my life, blood, and countless sleepless nights to the wiki itself, honestly. Does that make me a hardcore Fandomian editor? Most definitely.
What do you want to do with the wiki in the future?
In the future, I want the wiki to look official as if My Life as a Teenage Rabbot existed, but it actually doesn't, hence the “unofficial” tagline on our home page. That being said, when the wiki does explode in popularity, I want to contribute more to it and have people help out other people that need help, similar to how Wikipedia does it. Why, you may ask me? Well, it's due to us dubbing our editors and readers as “Rabbotpedians”. It's based off what is on Wikipedia, and I'm not sorry for it, plus some other wikis have the “pedia” name in their wiki names, so we followed suit to lessen confusion.
How could others help out?
Other people can help out by contributing to articles that are in need of expansion, make artwork for the episodes that exist on the wiki, brainstorm ideas, and so on. Since the series doesn't exist (yet), but if it did, it would be a huge banger of a series, according to some members on our wiki's Discord server, which I'll admit, it honestly would be awesome. However, doing this all by myself would burn me out after a long while. So I'd love to recruit some help along the way to both ease off the workload and to also allow me to help others out as well, as I'm a very helpful gal. Plus, I'm welcome to accept any form of criticism or advice, so if you require something, just ask!
Where is it? (give a link!)
The Rabbotpedia, your one-stop source that is next to The Loud House Wiki and sorta like the UnAnything Wiki, albeit with more sass and funny business.
That being said, this is my first promotional post on here, so do correct me if I'm missing anything! I promoted our wiki (since it doesn't really belong to me, yes, I've lurked many a time in the forums on here) over on the subreddit ages ago, so why not here? I hope you enjoy the wiki, maybe even check out the show (unless you watch it already, if it existed), and hopefully become an active user! We are always looking for great contributors to promote too!
That said, thank you for reading this!
