There were no user-facing changes in today's code release, but one back end security fix was applied.
Due to statutory holidays in Poland, where the vast majority of our engineers are located, there will be no code releases next Monday and Tuesday. Regular releases will resume on May 5, 2021.

As UCP migrations close, personal global CSS and JS has had its source of truth switched back to Community Central from the UCP placeholder wiki. Your last revision on UCP wiki has been transferred to Community Central.
There were no user-facing releases on Thursday, April 15th. Today's release includes:
Broken links now display as red (in color) in the Mobile Visual Editor
The edit summary box on the 2017 editor now has a maximum number of characters limit applied
Styling, and in particular bullet lists, have been added back to Special:Gadgets
Old blocks which were not being applied on wikis have now been fixed
Special:Analytics no longer has information about Discussion feeds
Fallback language has been added back to Chinese language variants where it was missing
There was only one release of note today and that was that legibility and contrast have been improved for Special:MobileDiff on the FandomMobile skin.

A main page gallery on the Warsawa (Polish) wiki which had been throwing a MediaWiki error has been resolved.
Searching "qq" or "QQ" on the Chinese Minecraft wiki no longer results in an internal error.
New mobile images galleries are now enabled across Fandom.
Some missing translations have been added for the CreateNewWiki process for non-English wikis.

Reverb on non-English migrated GP wikis now links to the notification page on the correct language path
Banners informing about new mobile experience on wikis has been removed
Last Wednesday's release blocker has been resolved. Gallery image thumbnails now load in the Visual Editor on Mobile

We moved to daily technical releases on Mondays through Thursdays as of April 7, 2021 and I will be providing high level updates here regarding those releases moving forward. As I'm sure many of you have noticed, it's already the 8th and nothing was said yesterday. For the record, there was a technical blocker which caused the team to cancel yesterday's release. Today, there is only one bug fix of note being released:
We had a number of wikis which experienced problems during the wiki creation process which caused a corruption of the underlying database. A search was made to identify these wikis and they have since been deleted.
