the watchlist a part of base MediaWiki software and allows you to "watch" (or "follow") pages on a wiki. Bingebot is in no way related to wikis or watchlists
I'd also like to mention that we've never banned users for simply "being from Wikia/Fandom". If a user here is banned from Gamepedia, that would be a result of their actions, not where they came from. I am happy to discuss removing bans from users who have good intentions and are not going to repeat the behaviour that got them banned in the first place.
I haven't participated in that discussion, so i can't say. My guess would be that it's the opinions of the contributors to that wiki.
no secrets. I am an employee, Pcj is an employee, TwoTailedFox is not (nor are any of the other contributors i can see on that Wowpedia discussion). If you look at our profiles on a Gamepedia wiki, you can see that staff have the additional "Gamepedia Staff" badge
People with the Pro tag are not necessarily employees. Frequent editors receive Pro status for their contributions, and that threshold is actually fairly low. Because of the nature of our jobs and the fact that the system does not discriminate between users and staff, we also get Pro.
