Am i the only one experiencing crazy editing bugs today?
When cutting some text, the cursor just disappears. It is still movable but simply invisible.
And (as usual), highlighted text might be out of focus.
Thanks for the feedback.
Hello,
Please always give links: https://teams.fandom.com/
Don't make the images to float if you want them to be next to each other:

Hello,
Please follow the discussion guidelines: keep it clear & on-topic, give links.
If you don't feel at ease with coding, maybe stick to the usual galleries (images + captions)
I can confirm the behaviour. The second ref link points to a non existing ref actually.
It seems it's due to how is parsed the infobox template.
A possible workaround is to do:
<data source="param-1"><label>Param 1</label><format>{{{param-1}}}<ref>Ref 1</ref></format></data>
@Cameron leito Since you came on Community Central, every of your posts are useless. Stop trolling or leave.
Hello,
Deleted posts appears with a red triangle for me indeed. Why does your username not appear on the deletion message though?
About Special:Insights, it might take some time to be updated.
Thanks for explaining.
This is a known bug sadly: https://community.fandom.com/f/p/4400000000003725912
It seems i'm able to do it. Is it your case? When exactly it doesn't work?
Hello,
Discussions tags might not work in certain circumstances (for ex, if the name of the tagged pages is too short.)
Please describe what happened exactly ("On this topic, i tried to tag this page/these pages")
Hello,
> and that it would mean that someone is editing my page
That's not what the error message is saying. It just says you can't revert to a certain version due to a conflict with later ones.
Since this is your own profile (i don't know what are "stuff" btw), just copy the content of the version you want to retrieve then paste it as a new edit.
> I know from plenty of reports here that it exists with the 2017 source editor and syntaxhighlight.
Yes: the syntaxhighlight problems are only with the 2017 source editor to me. (And not always actually. But when posting, it was turning crazy.)
About the disappearing cursor, it was on the whole Fandom platform indeed. (I posted the topic before understanding the bug was not only when editing.)
Currently everything is fine. I note i'm on Debian with Firefox. The bug might have come from some updates, or have been quickly fixed by Fandom.
Ok: the bug actually appears on Discussion/Blog/Comments… as well! Note i don't experience it on any other website.
> I’ve never personally experienced the disappearing curser glitch when cutting text, so maybe that bug might be somewhat new.
Indeed! That's why i need some feedback before making a good enough bug request.
Note: switching tabs or refreshing fix the bug… until you cut some text again.

> Is it really better if the wiki is just forgotten?
I'd like wikis i'm working on could be "forgotten" like this 😩

If you want to do this for only one link from time to time, you can do this:
[[#|<span style="color:orange;">Internal link</span>]]
[https://example.com <span style="color:orange;">External link</span>]
It can be converted as a template very easily.
Hello,
The audio player will look different depending the user browsing context.
You can customizing it thanks to the AUDIO tag though. Ex:
.page audio { background: var(--theme-accent-color); }
> Sorry but you are not being helpful here
I agree i won't give any solution to your problem. I only want to say this is not a problem actually.
If you still consider it is, report it as a bug maybe: https://support.fandom.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021261554-I-have-found-a-bug
Hello,
You were thread moderator until 2024-10-03T23:45:18.
You probably see the icon due to your cache is not refreshed. On my side, i don't see your icon.
> I didn't ask to be criticized
I didn't to be honest. This is just the special shortcut formatted by Fandom is way more clear & handy than any else. By the way, i don't lose the spot on a page when clicking a link in the same tab then going back.
